Grippers Non Slip Dog Socks (XXSmall: 1kg - 3kg (Fits Paws 4.5cm L x 3.8cm W))

I’ve got a little Toy Poodle who used to do agility and was as fit as a flea, until a fall where he dislocated his shoulder, I’ve managed it myself with Physio, swimming etc, but now he is 13 years he was slipping on hard floors and splaying out like Bambi on ice, I can’t tell you how it broke my heart to watch him struggle up, after being such a fit and active dog, but I guess any true dog lover will understand that feeling. I have tried a few different things for him including little things that slipped over his nails, Dom is a very sweet gentle dog who loves everyone but he actually growled under his breath at me for putting them on! I saw a friend had these boots on her old dog and tracked them down to Amazon and sent off for them. Not expecting them to work but wanting them to! They came reasonably promptly and I put them on him immediately, I got the XXsmall, as poodles have very small feet and fine legs, they fit him well, are a bit of a fuss getting on until you’re used to them, but once on, and they start moving around...just WOW! He instantly knew he was safe and even on wooden floor he confidently struts once more, I will never not have them now. Something that actually works! My darling boy keeps up with his younger poodle friends everywhere in the house once more. Just wish I had found them sooner.

I bought a pair too small for my Westie at first, and the guys at the other end very kindly changed them for me with no problems. Sadly my Westie is elderly now and very suspicious of new things, having had her ears and eyes messed about with for the past two years. She seems to have decided that pulling socks onto her paws is something to be avoided, although she's very patient and placid. I did manage to get them all on, but she refused to leave her refuge on the mat, so I couldn't test them out. She did, on the enticement of food, step gingerly onto the tiles at one point, and indeed her feet did not slip. She doesn't make the connection though - she's a bit dim. She busied herself at the earliest opportunity with removing the pedal intruders, and they were off. I gave it one more shot but she'd got it down to a fine art, and whipped them off in minutes. So now she just has to take the consequences and slide about. Her choice - I tried!

Used on our infirm Doberman who really struggles on smooth floors. Probably the best of various indoor non-slip socks we've tried. Best feature is the all-round plastic pad, so even when they slide around the feet they still grip. Start to break-up after a month of daily use and washing but overall good value.

Brilliant for my elderly, front leg amputee dog when on slippy floors. However her front leg requires the large size which I've been trying to get for months now to replace old ones and unable to.

I measured my dog's feet so carefully but to get his foot through the leg/sock part of the grippers was impossible. It would be helpful to know the measurements of the width of the sock part before selecting a size.The sock material is also not that stretchy so I could not even try really stretching them over my dog’s feet.

While they were on they were ok. But that wasn't for long! They worked brilliantly on providing grip and our German Shepherd was quite happy to have them on. However, they just kept coming off, the velcro ties didn't make any difference. They were quite hard to put on so we gave up. Not sure if a bigger size would have helped. Good idea, well made, can't fault the product - but just not practical for our dog.

Can’t give them 5 stars yet as I got them for when we visit a house with wooden floors but so far so good. Put them on our dog (Tibetan Terrier with very hairy feet) and he accepted them with no problem. They must be comfy as he didn’t try to get them off. Fingers crossed they work on the wooden floors.

These are great. I had a little problem with my dog being too intelligent and figuring a way of pulling them off but this is not the fault of the product. As boots go for dogs these are great quality and good products. Very pleased with them and will be keeping them for special occasions.
