Okay, so this is definitely not in any way real linen and they really shouldn't call it that. It is, however, a nice, very lightweight fabric that is ideal for beach, desert, backyard BBQ or any super hot weather situation. If you are okay with it not being linen, you will enjoy this set. We just went to Israel in August and it was crazy hot. I got my husband 2 sets, one white and one sand so he could mix and max and wear the outfits 4 different ways (all white, all tan, tan top white bottom or white top tan bottom). It was so comfortable, cool and easy to wear that I ended up washing them in the hotel sink so he could keep wearing them for the whole trip. The fit is generous. He normally wears a medium but I bought size small based on other reviews and it fit perfectly. For reference he is 5'6", 140 lbs, 30" waist, with pretty much no butt. The shorts have an elastic and drawstring waistband and they came to just below his knees, which was perfect for getting into all the holy sites we were visiting on this trip. I would recommend to anyone needing something super lightweight for hot weather!

I'm a short dude, 5'4 and I usually wear medium, and it fits well but man this shirt makes me look like a Cholo, I'm gonna have to crop a bunch or tuck it in a lil, the shorts are a little long as well, but it doesn't bother me as much, it's kinda see through, so don't wear your sponge Bob boxers with it... overall it's a nice summer set.

Excellent outfit

This 2 piece set is for a summer boho themed wedding, we chose this set because it looked light weight and soft, plus the colors matched perfectly with the theme. The shorts were very long (couple inches past the knee) so we had to get them hemmed about 4-5 inches. The material is very light weight but it feels different than what it looks like it would feel. Overall still comfortable!

Shorts length are as pictured. The fabric lays nicely and does not stick to the body. The material is soft. Needs a bit ironing, but that was expected.
