First off, these were boxed up beautifully! Not only was the box seriously lined in thick padding, but there was padding between each dipping tray. Bravo!! I actually was really hesitant on getting these, because they weren't really the style of dipping trays I wanted; but there wasn't a whole lot of selection, so I decided to go with these ones. I'm glad I did.They are perfect size. Not too big, but not so small that they can't have multifunctional use. They stack together nicely for compact storage.They don't have any kind of labeling on them, nor do they state if they're dishwasher or microwave safe. And, honestly, I can't remember if the advertisement said so? The box is extremely plain and there was no kind of paperwork within the box. I decided to do a microwave test. I put water in one dish for 30 seconds. In a microwave test, if the dish ends up becoming hotter than the liquid inside then they are definitely not microwave safe. In this test, while the dish did get extremely hot, it was not as hot as the liquid inside. However it was close! I, personally, will probably not use these in the microwave. But, to be honest I can't think of a reason why I would, unless I was maybe heating up some syrup because I like my syrup warm.Overall, if you're looking for a decent, inexpensive set of dipping trays without having to go with plastic as the cheap alternative, I would recommend these dipping trays. I just wish that they came in different colors and patterns because they totally clash with my dishware. Clearly not a deal breaker for me.

Very nice set and the perfect size. Great for sauces on the side, or just general use in the kitchen for ingredients staging for cooking. Definitely, a buy again.

Great product for sushi dinner parties. Perfect soy dipping dishes.I use them all the time for garlic, herbs and spices while cooking for my mise en place.

These bowls are just the right size for condiments, dips, salsa, etc. They’re sturdy and have good weight. They wash well in the dishwasher and stack well for storage. They definitely feel more expensive than they are. There’s nothing else to say, really. They’re just good bowls.
