These are great, but note — it’s not 100% Hanji.It’s 30% Hanji, 60% polyester and 10% nylon.Still, it’s softer than the 100% nylon/polyester alternatives.

The main reason why I bought this was because it advertised itself as “soft” enough to label it as a “kids washcloth.” It is not soft at all, it’s rough but thankfully not scratchy. It’s not firm either, so it’s not bad enough for me to return it; the rigidness is endurable, but it is 100% not suitable for children. My skin is a bit sensitive, for reference. After using it, my skin is very dry, and I have to apply lotion. Its foaming power is okay. It dries rather quick and holds a decent amount of soap and water, but not a lot. Definitely exfoliating if that’s what you’re looking for. Also, straight out of the package, it smells like a woman’s private part. I tried washing it twice and the scent returns when it dries. Not sure if it’s from the special material used. Overall, I’m very disappointed. Color is pretty, though.

I just got back from a trip to Japan, and they have towels like these in hotels. Which I loved. They’re very nice to wash with. It’s like an American loofah, but not scrunched up. It’s Long, like three American wash cloths, so you can wash the back easily. Dries fast
