As you grow older, to minimize injuries proper form becomes imperative. This applies to loading and unloading 45lb plates as well as the lifts themselves. At no time do I struggle with proper form more than when loading plates onto my landmine bar. Being bent over, while holding the two unrestrained components while getting them into alignment and then engaging them, is a scenario designed for muscular and orthopedic overloads. Even minor ones become an issue when you are still lifting heavy into your 70s. I've rigged up various makeshift cradles, such as automotive jack stands and short step stools, but they have either lacked sufficient stability or were cumbersome to have around my crowded home gym when they were not in use (the includes the double sided deadlift jacks). The RITFIT Barbell Jack is a huge improvement over anything I've tried--compact, far more stable than would be suspected from the size of its footprint, and in operation the forces involved are minimal and controlled. It is so much easier to align a 45 pound plate when both hands can be employed as the bar is stable. When not in use, it takes up very little floor space, and could be hung on the wall if so desired. So for me, and it appears many other, this is a near perfect solution to common issues. While not unique, it is an innovative design, well manufactured and honestly marketed. It's an exemplar of what justifies a full five star rating, and so, I reward it with one.

This has been a game changer. I've used this for deadlifting sessions with up to 340 lbs on the bar so far, and this jack has handled it without any issues. I was worried that the bar would wobble, but so far it's rock solid while I'm adding and removing plates from one side at a time. Not only is my fatigue between sets reduced, but I can just barely fit this jack into my gym bag. So it might not be light, but it's compact and easy to transport to and from the gym. Highly recommend for any regular deadlifters.

Simple, effective, and inexpensive.

Simple to use and has made loading the bar for any kind of floor based work so much easier. It's very sturdy and very easy to use. It's also fairly small, for what it is, so easy to get out of the way. It does leave some residue in the knurling but nothing that's really bothersome.

I got this to replace a Genesis that grew legs at the gym. I had it there for 8 months and it was always there. Gym reimbursed me (credits) which was cool of them but still... I didn't want to use their Rogue monster jack as its a PIA if your not in the first dead lift station otherwise each load and unload you need to walk it back to it's parking spot (enforced when others are dead lifting or doing Olympic lifts). I used the ritfit today upto 315 as i do not go heavy at home as i do not have a deadlift platform and i do not want to damage my slab. I went to buy another Genesis but they were sold out.. Someone told me after buying this that REP has them so i bought 1 from them. I was thinking of returning this but I might not and just keep this in my vehicle for when i do go to the gym. I don't know yet. It's double the weight of the genisis Pros = Cheap and does the job Cons=Plastic is cheap like Titan cheap. If the knurl hits this i'm pretty sure it will chew thru. No finger slots and there are sharp edges from the plastic joint on the handle. ************************************************************************************************************************************* 11/29/2025 UPDATE ************************************************************************************************************************************* Ok, I thought about wrapping the handle but full grip on with 4 plates and it pinched the lumb pad and that ended my deadlift session. Not happy. ************************************************************************************************************************************* Seller reached out to me and let me know they are listening. This company is standing behind their product and made this more than right. I ended up wrapping the handle with a racket wrap and have used it several times since without issue.

I am really happy I purchased this Barbell Jack for my home gym. It's a real convenience especially when I'm doing deadlifts. The price was also reasonable.

This thing works awesome helps me load of plates very easily. The mechanical design of it is perfect. You have the perfect amount of mechanical leverage. It’s very easy. A child could use it.
