Excellent, but
So I used this product in exposed bedrock. I needed to mount an eye bolt so I could lockout a roadway with a chain stretched across. Wanted something substantial. The eye bolt I mounted had a 1"-8 thread, approximately 9" long. I drilled a 1-1/2" hole in the bedrock. Fantastic product, but make sure you get the correct gun for this tube. Obviously it's a two part system. Not all two part systems are the same. 1:1 will be mixing equal parts together. 1:2, 1:4 are also products available today. This particular product is 1:2. You need to make sure the gun you have will support this ratio. After curing, feels like I could lift the planet, if I had a big enough crane!! Soooo solid!!!

Excellent product
Easy to fill void spaces and cures shortly thereafter to a rock hard surface. Got tired of pointing mortar on a garage lentil every few years. Used this product in place of mortar for a permanent fix.

This epoxy works awesome!
I am very impressed. I knew this brand from projects I worked on that were specified from Europe with bolt anchors. However, I never worked before with this epoxy in specific with threaded rods in humid boreholes, and I was happily impressed. I normally use chemicals for 1/2” rods up to 3/4”, and this time I used them with 1” threaded rod to set the legs of a big piece of equipment, and the result was great. Definitely is this will be my go-to option for upcoming projects.

Can't Find A Gun This Product Will Fit
I have used a lot of epoxy products over the years, and all were designed for use in a regular caulk gun. This Fischer product has a dual cartridge design and I have nothing to apply it with... and have searched Amazon and other vendors with no luck finding one. This may be a great product, but as for now it will be sitting on my shelf.

Make sure you have access to correct side by side gun
Would not fit in either of my side by side guns, So I had to squeeze some out of each side with a vice then mix with a putty knife then applied to fake rock (Decorative Stone) and then stuck it back on to concrete wall, Held it in place with some pressure for about a minute, Held great and now there's only thirteen more to do.

Great for setting anchors
UPDATE: I received my epoxy gun, a JES Innovations D4 400 ml (1:1 and 2:1) which is a really nice gun but it did not work. It will fit the cartridge around but is too short to allow it to be inserted all the way. It appears this uses a unique gun "Fischer 058000 Cartridge Gun FIS AM" that is listed here on Amazon but shows as currently unavailable. All the reviews for it are from Germany so I'm not sure if it is truly available in the USA. I found several available online but they were all overseas and appeared to be about $100 but I'm not exactly sure on that as they were listed in Euro or Pounds and I don't know the conversion rate. Plus there would likely be high shipping and import charges. I got this for one project I am doing which is setting some studs in a brick faced and concrete backed fireplace for a barn wood beam mantle. I'll usually buy special tools for a project even if they are expensive as long as I can use them in the future for other projects. In this case I'm not sure I would ever use it again. I'm pretty sure that this product is overkill for what I want to do but would work great for it. I can't take any stars off for the product because it appears to be great stuff. Just be aware of the need for a specialized dispenser gun before you order. ================================================================================ I got this thinking it would fit my 3M 08571 epoxy gun. Unfortunately my gun will only handle 200 ml dual tube epoxies. This epoxy requires a gun that can handle 400 ml tubes (this is 390 ml). The gun also needs to be of the style that supports 2:1 mixing ratio. There are several on Amazon, just search for "epoxy gun 400 ml" So since I didn't have the proper dispenser tool, I had to order one and it isn't here yet. Because of that I will have to wait to actually use the epoxy. But I am sure it will great for the projects I intend to use it for. I am currently redoing my living room fireplace and one of the things I am doing to it is to add a barn wood beam mantle. I will be drilling holes into the brick face and insert threaded rod. The mantle will have holes drilled in it and the rod will stick out the from and I will then put nuts the screw onto the rod. If this epoxy doesn't work exceptionally I will update the listing with any issues.

Fantastic product, but you need the special caulking gun for this one
Upfront disclosure: I received this item through the Amazon Vine program for review. Two part epoxy is one of my favorite things to use. It's strong, durable, and binds extremely well. This specially formulated epoxy is a commercial grade product for serious construction and repairs. Designed to hold anchors, rebar, and repair concrete cracks, this does a lot for one product. The spiral nozzles mix the epoxy nicely and allow you to put the epoxy deep into holes and cracks unlike many conventional concrete and mortar repair tubes. I have lots of concrete repairs I have been working on around our older home and this is exactly what I needed to make more lasting repairs. There is one big issue with this product. You have to get Fischer's special caulking gun that has two rods to push the two part mix out into the special spiral nozzle (two nozzles are included and a screw on cap to preserve the mix if you don't use it all up). That caulking gun took a while for me to get through Amazon, but the day it arrived I understood why it was expensive. It's made in the UK and well constructed with a very nice trigger. This tube slots in perfectly (regular caulk tubes fit too) and the two bars push in simultaneously to push out the mix in the right ratio. I did notice that there is a priming for it that occurs in the first few presses so be aware that some of the large tubes white solution comes out unmixed before you get the two part mix coming out that is gray. Once you have that gray mix coming out this was very easy to use and I had very little waste. I was able to repair several long cracks in two retaining walls in a short amount of time. So yeah this is not cheap and it requires a special caulking gun, but once I had both in hand I understood why it's pricey. It's a superior product. I will be buying lots more.

This is the applicator gun you need to make this work
Unlike sealant, this epoxy-based product needs to dispense from two different cylinders into one nozzle where pre-mixing is done. I have this epoxy, but I have no way to dispense it. A special gun is needed, and you can find it here on Amazon. Just search for "Fischer 058000 Cartridge Gun FIS AM". I have not received my dispensing gun yet, so my 5-star rating is based on hopes that this epoxy-based anchor will work well. Of course, when I receive my ordered gun I will have experience, and I will return here to update my review. We in the United States are not familiar with Fischer for securing anchors into concrete. It looks like they're trying to make a name for themselves here. They already have a good reputation in Europe. Let's see if they can earn a warm welcome here. I'll let you know how it works out. One last note: you are reading a Vine review, which means this product was sent to me without my having to pay for it. I never believed Vine reviews, I felt people would say anything to get free stuff. The Vine program, at least for me, is a little different: I only get what I go out of my way to ask for, and everything I get is reported as income to me, so I'll have to pay income taxes at what will probably be reported as list price. I may actually lose on the deal. But I wanted this epoxy-based anchoring product, my expansion anchors and hand mix epoxy haven't worked out so well, I not only didn't know this product existed before I saw it available for review - I didn't know the Company existed before I saw this product available for review. I do have high hopes for its success and am waiting for the applicator gun. Hopefully, my experience has been a help to you.
