Usually hate using sunscreen on my face, but was going to Greece for a week so thought Id try this. Absolutely fantastic! Goes on great over my face oil, and works beautifully as a base for make up. Will defo buy it again.

So this has exceeded my expectations as a primer. My liquid foundation has remained flawless all day, even in hot weather. But the most important thing is that the spf doesn't sting my eyes in the slightest. This is something that I nearly always struggle with. I want to try every product in this Primer spf range now. The only down sides - you need to shake it well and the packaging isn't very luxurious. But despite that I would definitely recommend this to have flawless makup and painless spf benefits.

I love how this feels when you apply it, almost like velvet on your skin. It gives that blurring effect. I just wish it was SPF 50 to give better protection.

I think it does what it’s meant to but I can’t get past the texture. It feels like I’m smearing tallow on my face. The smell isn’t pleasant either 😬

Applies so smoothly. Beautiful finish. BUT need to reapply often or you get burnt

I had to keep this in the fridge to make the texture a bit more easy to apply (I was in Cancun, so the weather was very hot and it became completely liquid). I hate the smell. It does seem to work as a face sunscreen and never really used it under makeup, just to protect my face when snorkelling. I didn’t get too much sunlight exposure but I didn’t get a sunburn either so I suppose it works.

La texture in gel è leggera e si assorbe rapidamente, lasciando la pelle uniforme e senza residui oleosi. Funziona perfettamente anche come primer per il trucco, rendendo la mia routine di bellezza più semplice e veloce. Inoltre, apprezzo molto che sia un prodotto vegano e non testato sugli animali. Consiglio vivamente questo prodotto a chi cerca una protezione solare efficace e multifunzionale.

I wear sunscreen on my face daily. I've always had a racket finding one that wasn't too greasy, or drying, and is not crazy expensive. It is a smaller size container, yet it covers and spreads very nicely, so it should last well just using it as intended for your face. This ELF facial sunscreen is perfectly perfect! It doesn't have a perfumed coconut type beachy scent, if that's what you like. Personally, I don't care for that beachy scent on my face. It has that chemical sunscreen scent that does dissipate soon after applying, so that's a good thing. This sunscreen applies beautifully and it sort of relaxes the tiny wrinkling that you can see when your facial skin is dry even though you've already moisturized. This sunscreen gives my face both that dewey, but not greasy look, and sun protection at the same time. I super like this ELF sunscreen for the face!

i love that this product doesn’t make my skin feel oily after applying & it also had such a soft silky feel to it. ☺️ doesn’t feel so heavy on my skin like other moisturizers. nice lightweight feel to it, with maximum protection. i use it so much i’m already running out & will probably be subscribing to this product to get it every month. 💕 i’m also a fan of the smell too, lol. perfect for me overall. primes + moisturizes + protects skin all in one. worth every penny!

Sorry, this was just terrible! I used the transparent version yesterday: one thin layer looks good on the skin but after 30mins in the sun I started burning, so I tried to reapply it generously. It started peeling off my face and did not stick. Everything I touched got a silicon-like sticky weird touch. The little balls got stuck everywhere… This was just disgusting with zero protection. (yes my skin burnt on the sun) I used to use the Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen which it is supposed to dupe- and that one is superior to this one.

Ich habe nach einer guten Alternative zu dem Daily Moisturising Face SPF 50x von Bondi Sands gesucht. Man kann beides nicht miteinader vergleichen, Bondi Sands ist für mich auch gleichzeitig Tagespflege im Sommer + Sonnenschutz. Bei Elf muss man wirklich nur ganz wenig nehmen, da es sonst lange dauert bis es einzieht, zusätzlich ist bei dem Elf Produkt ein Primer mit Bluring-Effect enthalten, welches das Hautbild ausgleicht und Poren minimiert. Fühlt sich etwas an wie ein Gel-Primer. Gute Alternative, aber das nächte Mal greife ich wieder zu Bondi Sands.
