Solid Reel
I've been using this reel for just over a year now, on a weekly basis, and it has been a lot of fun to use. The centrifugal brakes are easy to fine tune and can cast a mile. It's comfortable to palm in hand. It feels solid and ridged. You honestly can't go wrong with this reel. I own the 6.6:1 version, and have it paired beautifully with the One3 Fate V3 "ChatterCrank" rod.....such a great combo for moving baits. It does pick up dirt quick, but I just clean it periodically. White gets dirty. I knew that going in, and I don't mind tinkering. It's a great budget reel, and after a year, it's still landing bass for me with zero issues. I think it might even be performing a bit better now that I disassembled, cleaned, greased and oiled it. I would definitely recommend this, especially for someone who's just getting into baitcasters, due to the ease of use, price and quality for price.

Good Value Quality Small for 200 size
The media could not be loaded. This is a good reel for the money. It is listed as 200 size reel, however it has a narrower spool and lower line capacity then some other makes of 200 reels. I did use it for some average size steelhead and salmon using 12lb mono with good results. If you use braid, you can increase line capacity with thinner diameter line. It does hold adequate line for bass fishing, however it is not big enough if you are looking for a larger capacity reel for Salmon Steelhead fishing. I disagree with some of the other users having issues with the reel in casting functionality. I made a very minor adjustment before and after a half dozen casts which shortly after that it loosened up and casts fantastic. The drag and gears held up to some fall salmon and winter steelhead fishing so far. I will try other 13 Fishing reels based on my good experience with this reel to date.

Excellent Reel!
This was my first 13 Fishing product. I paired with a 7.1' Medium 13 fishing Fate Chrome rod. This reel casts like a dream. Exceptionaly Smooth. I've had no serious back lashes. This is only my 2nd baitcaster, coming from a KastKing Royal Legend, this is a MAJOR upgrade! I've pulled in several fish on this reel, including a 5.35 pound bass. The only draw back of this reel is the white color. It does get dirty easily. The reel is gorgeous and functional. The knobs have a great texture and grip easily even when your hands are wet.I would recommend this to anyone, from beginner to fishing freak, who wants to try Fishing 13 products without dropping $120-175 on a reel. I like the reel so much, I just ordered the Origin A to try out!

The Origin C where Fishing Adventures Begin
It is what it is , did not handle mono or flouro very well, braid is the way to go with this one, pretty noisy, side plate lock would occasionally come loose or was really difficult to lock. Matte white stains supper easy, thank goodness for Magic Erasers, if you are OCD like myself. It did cast well and farther than expected. It is their middle line, but, decent beginner reel. If you can spend the money on the Inception or Concept Models do it.

Used for last 3 months and love it.
I have $200ish reels and the Origin fits right in with those. I like to use it with the rely medium heavy rod and power pro 10lb to 10lb fluorocarbon.

Great reel - the lower gear ratio is perfect
Using this reel for slow trolling Kokanee and trout. The lower gear ratio is easier to reel in then the 7:1 reels I have.

Man this reel is “real”
Mannnn this reel is “real” one of the best reels i own so far.. and I’m starting to collect quite a few reels. The thing I want to mention first and foremost is the customer service, I lost the palm side cover in the water. I contacted customer service and man they shipped me a replacement ASAP. The customer service was so nice I bought another reel ....lol... but that’s how u do it.... a great reel for the money and it looks cool too...

great value.
Reel is smooth and well made. Casts great but a little hard to adjust the cast control. It might have been the excessive grease that cause the reel to be a little difficult to adjust. Remove the grease problem solved.

Awesome reel
Super nice baitcaster for the price. Ended up tossing it on a white rod, its a pretty hot combo. Recommended for sure.

Surprised me
I haven’t been baitcasting long but I had come to be a big fan of Lew’s as I feel they pack a lot of value into the reels. Took a chance on this one, as I wanted something with centrifugal braking. In term of the body and handle, I prefer a lew’s, however I was shocked how well it casts. Took it out all afternoon and didn’t backlash. Casts far. Could be a touch smoother but for the price, and the fact it’s aluminum, I’m happy with the Option C.

Don’t fall for the looks.
Gets dirty easily, doesn't cast nearly as far as other brands, no it’s not my skill level because I can cast friends rods and cast about a 3rd farther. No where to apply lubricant, you have to take it apart. It may look sexy but don’t fall for the looks, I would suggest piscfun, it’s a much smoother reel and you get more than what you pay for. Overall it’s a good learning real, but not good in the long run.

Spend extra and get a Concept A
Not bad, good handles and drag but a pricey backup reel, can tell it’s lower quality than the concept A which is an absolute beast! Yeah the matte white gets dirty...probably wouldn’t buy an origin again despite my loyalty the the brand.
