I bought over 30 of these for the office and at first when we started using some of them, they have worked great. However, as more hubs were connected, strange issues started to happen. It took several months to identify the issues which all were resolved.1st issue - the hub was not working many times when it was connected to the laptop in the morning. Eventually this was a feature of Lenovo Thinkpad called 'automatic airplane mode detection' that was making the laptop disconnect the c-type port for about 10 minutes.2nd issue - the hub was not turning on all ports, ie only one hdmi working or not charging the laptop - again, a feature of battery saver in Lenonvo that causes the hub to misbehave.3rd issue - lan in the office failing. This was the most difficult issue to identify as there was no obvious logic why the lan in the office is failing as it was working perfectly before the hubs. One day we noticed this has happened exactly when one of the employees disconnected his laptop from the hub for a meeting. After a thorough and extensive research, we were able to identify the exact issue - if the hub is powered and is connected to a laptop with ethernet connection, if you disconnect the hub from the laptop, it will continue transmitting packets in a loop which will kill the switch/router. Disconnecting power from the hub immediately resolves it while disconnecting the reconnecting the ethernet cable does not. This is a known issue with many hubs, called 'broadcast storm'. We've been in talks with the company's support and they offered a simple fix - disabling 'flow control' in the adapter's settings fixed it.Important to note that we've compared it to 2 other different hubs which both have a correct behaviour of shutting down the ethernet port once the hub is disconnected from the laptop.

I have been looking for a docking station for a while now but didn't find one that fills my expectations (all needed gadgets) at a reasonable price after I found this one, it has everything I need and works great even when I need to work out of my house, portable and great material

I bought this adapter hub for displaying on multiple monitors in Jun 2021. It has been working fine for the last 1+ year with 2 HDMI ports serving my main using purpose with better price than other more expensive docking hubs. However, my mouse didn't work well while plugged into it. It always shows slowly power charging even the power core is plugged into it.I wanted to use a 3rd monitor with the VGA port for the 4th display. I tested using a VGA-HDMI cable which didn't work. That VGA port couldn't send the signal for any display. Windows couldn't even detect the monitor with the plugged VGA port alone.UPDATED!I switched the ends of the cable and it worked with the VGA to the monitor and the HDMI to the adapter. I bought another VGA-VGA to try. It worked but not for another 4th display; it mirrored the display of the HDMI port next to it which means only 2 extended and 1 laptop displays. This issue is up to the laptop's display support with Windows. All ports of this adapter technically work sending display signals in its design.

I bought this due to the price and having exactly what i needed and for the first 30 days had no complaints. granted i didnt use it for two of thoese weeks but a few days after the return date went up I had a major issue. I have my headphones two monitors, a 3d mouse and keyboard and mouse all hooked up through the computer dongle. for some reason the monitors now get recognised and if i plug them in and out its clear they get recognised but no picture shows up. everything else still works so i dont know if there is a short in the device but it will not show a picture but will show a connection to the monitor in the displau settings. if someone could reach out to me a bout a replacement it would be much appreciated because otherwise i have no way of fixxing it at the moment.Edit: after the posting SSK was nice enough to reach out to me and offer me a refund or replacement at no cost. I currently have a replacement dock and am very happy with it

Question for tech support: HMDI & VGA ports for monitor display are not working via USB C connection to laptop, I am using windows 10 on Asus Vivobook new laptop(model:X512JAU ) any suggestions? Also the headphone port doesnt seem to work, dont care about it as much as the HDMI & VGA ports...please share your thoughts. I will change the rating if I get the ports to work. Ethernet and USB ports seem to work fine. Overall looks & build quality wise, this device is really small, sleek, aluminum body and looks nice. Also, from reading a few customer reviews, I wish they the seller put a disclaimer in product description to confirm that this 11 port hub may not work with all USB C laptop ports as some may just be data ports and with no video output. Apparently my laptop does support the USB data & video, has the latest drivers yet the display doesnt seem to work.

This thing worked great at first. Then it didn't. Suddenly my computer would no longer recognize the monitors. It's as if my computer did an update and this dock was longer compatible. Now this is really just a $5 USB hub. To bad, it was a great product before.UPDATE 11/10/22Seller reached out and made it right. Had me a new dock within a week. Changing this to my original feelings on dock. Dock works great and does everything it says it will. Been very pleased with the purchase. The seller was awesome and made it right when the dock failed (needed a firmware update). Would definitely rec this to anyone looking for an affordable dock.

This was great for about a year, then, randomly today after plugging it in, the HDMI ports quit working. The PC still believes there is something attached, but there is no output going through to the screens. I confirmed the HDMI cables are both working and secure. The USB ports remain functioning.Worked great for a while, but this is the second one I've had this issue with. If you need it for extra USB ports, great, but there are less expensive options out there for that. The HDMI ports do not seem to last.

Los puertos se ajustan perfectamente cuando les metes el cable. No quedan flojos ni hacen falso. Ya a varias personas allegadas les comoparti el producto, lo adquirieron y estan contentos con el.

no clear user info, no manual, chart etc.

Todo funciona bien excepto la toma de red, que tiene cortes continuamente y es motivo suficiente por lo que lo voy a devolver.
