Works better than a basic unit I bought from a brick and mortar store, which ran so hot I thought it was going to melt. I returned that unit and purchased the TobenONE docking station based on the reviews and the fact it had a separate power supply. The unit works perfectly with the exception of one issue, which I don't use anyway, and didn't feel it detected for what I use it for. I can connect 3 external monitors to it, as well as connect several usb-c devices, usually for charging mobile devices, without any issues. I only need to run my external monitors at FHD (1080p) and this works beautifully. What is the one issue you ask? This unit will not power my laptop through the thunderbolt port and display the external monitors. I even tried unplugging all the monitors and just try to power the laptop through the thunderbolt port, and the display just wigs out and flashes and blinks on and off. It isn't something I care about because if I go mobile with my laptop, I don't need external displays to use or the docking unit, so I just have my laptop power supply. Otherwise, I love the docking station and it works perfectly for my needs. It's well built, and doesn't get overly hot. If I need a higher resolution external monitor in the future and have any problems, I'll update my review.

The docking station's MacBook compatibility is seamless, and I've had no issues connecting my 2023 MacBook Pro, All I had to do was install display link driver to extend my display to multiple monitors. One minor drawback is the power delivery. While it charges my Macbook Pro and Lenovo laptop without a hitch, it wasn't sufficient for my Dell Latitude laptop, which displayed a "slow charging" warning. However, this didn't affect the dock's performance otherwise. Overall, the TobenONE DisplayLink Docking Station is a well-designed, versatile product that works great for MacBook users, Just be mindful of the power output if you have a power-hungry laptop like the Dell Latitude.

Lo probe con una mac. Uno de los puertos funciona como un convertidor Thunderbolt->dp/hdmi, tiene algo extra de ancho de banda,lo que me permitio usar algunas de las frecuencias disponibles de mis monitores. Los 2 dos puertos usan ese tipo de hack de grabar pantalla, entonces hay menos opciones en cuanto a frecuencia. Para los puertos no nativos, al dejarlo con una frecuencia de 60hz, se siente como si fueran entre 40 y 50, se mueven bastante lentas las ventanas y el cursor.

It heats up a little, but work perfectly. Got 3 displays with Mac at 120hz. No issues faced.

Fiquei já impressionado com o unboxing, caixa bonita, organizada e de qualidade. Achei sem precedentes - pois nunca vi isso mesmo - que acompanha adaptador de tomada. O hub é bem menor do que imaginei, cabe qse na palma da mão. Bonito, material robusto e discreto, fica tranquilo do lado de tudo na mesa. Drivers são simples de baixar e instalar, funcionou tudo de primeira no Mac com chip M2. Recomendo, virei cliente.
