This is a really nice bed spread. Very happy with the quality. I have a Queen sized bed so went with the recommendation to go with a King size since people were saying it shrunk after they washed theirs. I wish I had gotten the Queen. Mine did not shrink all that much. I first washed it as directed. It did not shrink near enough. Then I washed it in hot and dried it in a hot drier. It did shrink some more, but not quite enough. I would recommend the King if you have a extra thick mattress, but not if you have a regular mattress. The King hits the floor and I would have liked it to hit about an inch off the floor on both sides of the bed. Still very happy with my purchase.

These are pretty spreads, but are too short from the top of the bed to the front. After reading the reviews, I ordered king size bedspreads so they would reach the floor on either side of my queen beds. They are fine side to side and do reach the floor, but after tucking pillows in, they are 12 inches from the floor on the bottom. We finally turned them sideways so they are about ten inches from the floor all around. Since the top of the spread is squared off, they do look odd, but better than when they are touching the floor on the sides and 12 inches up on the bottom. I would have returned them, but I had already washed them, so I am stuck. I STRONGLY suggest you try them on the bed first. Other than the fit, they are nicely made and attractive.

I bought this bedspread because of the oversize issue as I wanted something to reach the floor of my bed. It measured out 120 X 120. The first time it was washed and dried it shrank terribly and now has a measurement of 112 X 112 as it shrank 8 inches both ways.

I read a lot of reviews, and then hit "1-click" without realizing I did. So I bought it. Nice surprise! It arrived on time, and unlike some reviewers noted, it has no objectionable smell at all. It smelled like a new cotton garment. No chemical smell. I spread it on my bed immediately to ensure it would fit. Plenty large. I understand it will shrink, but I have not washed it yet. The fold lines have almost disappeared. It is BEAUTIFUL! I just love what this does to my bed and my bedroom's look! And it is a nice, weighty feeling under it, but not too hot. So perfect for these warm summer nights! And I just love that design. I have no complaints, only praise. (Honestly, it makes me feel like an adult. lol)

This covers a king size mattress! Hallelujah! So many bedspreads can't even cover the mattress, much less the top of the box springs. I have a standard depth king mattress on a standard issue metal bed frame and this bedspread does NOT touch the floor, per-washed. I'd say it has about 6" off the floor on the sides, still comingover the top of the boxsprings a good few inches. This has room to spare for shrinkage, so I'm not concerned about washing it. It's very light, suitable for summer beds. I use this with a down comforter folded at the foot of the bed in the winter.

This bedspread is perfect! I bought this when I inherited my grandmother's tiger oak bedroom set. Very happy it has that antique feel. Fits the bed perfectly. I wanted a true bedspread as it has a (brand name ) memory foam mattress and I didn't want a cover with a dust ruffle. Have you ever tired to pick up a memory foam mattress? The pattern is beautiful. I am more than pleased.

I bought this king bedspread to actually be more of an oversized coverlet. My matress and box spring are extra deep, so even oversized coverlets weren’t large enough. After washing and drying bedspread, it was the perfect size. The color is truly an off white, not too yellow or too tan. After using for a few months, I’m still pleased with this purchase.

This fits the King sized pillows perfectly. Beautiful on the bed and matches the bedspread perfectly.I have not laundered it so don't know about shrinkage yet. Well made and a great quality for the price.Looks clean and elegant on the bed.After having this for a year I still have no complaints. I purchased the white and even on a ranch it has done well and fits the king sized bed wonderful. It is a heavy well made spread.
