This was a little bigger than I originally thought but that was on me for not confirming measurements. Overall, the product looks great mounted on my counter. The box came with a template for you to trace so you know how large to cut the hole. The outlet fit right into the hole with no issues. Plugged right in and worked perfectly!

I've had mine in place on my nightstand for about a month. The construction feels sturdy, it was easy to install, and looks good. For the price, I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

I wanted to use these outlets in a work bench that I was installing. Really liked the idea of being able to close them to keep the sawdust and dirt out of them. I am so pleased with the operation of them and the functionality. The motion as they open is very smooth and the ability to just be able to plug any USB cord in them without having to find or store the charging block is great. When the electrical is not needed to be able to reclaim that part of my bench and have things look so clean and organized is very pleasing to me. I liked them so much I have now installed 3 in the benches in my shop. I can't imagine anyone would ever be disappointed in them. I highly recommend.

Solid, metal powder-coat, heavy. This product exceeds my expectations. This is not some cheaply made plastic outlet. This thing is sturdy and well-built. I am very pleased.The only con I can think of is that it is a little slower to open than I would’ve liked. But this certainly isn’t enough to warrant losing a star. After all, if I wanted the outlet exposed all the time I wouldn’t have purchased this pop-up version. It’s a little slow, but that’s okay. As long as it works to keep out the dust then I’m happy.I highly recommend this to anyone who wants an outlet for their workbench. This is the one. I’ve looked at a lot, but this is the one. Just get it.

Is it supposed to look like it's hovering 1/8" off the table surface? I didn't see any other way of mounting it without it looking as such – which doesn't look good to me. So I used a router to recess the mounting points and it ended up being super flush. Without any instructions it was difficult to know whether I did it correctly or not but being I'm a handy guy I got it done.Not a bad unit for the price but I feel it needs to come with some type of instructions.

Product came in and was heavier than expected but thats a good thing! Definately heavy duty and looks to be quality materials. Package even came with a stencil to cut out the perfect hole.

My rating is only on the esthetics of this sine I never used and returned it. I can say I was super impressed with the quality, it felt like it was made of high quality metal and had some weight to it. After doing our remodel and going with a different method, I now wish I would have kept this instead, live and learn. Kitchen still turned out amazing. Overall I would highly recommend this.

Looks like it's super durable heavy-duty power strip and this is exactly what I was looking for.
