This bed is great! I've had it for a month and my dog weighs over 100 lbs and there is not a smashed down part to it. Very sturdy and my dog loves it.***1 year later and the bed is as good as new. Not smashed down at all. The cover comes off and washes up with no noticeable wear and tear. It has a waterproof lining, too. Will definitely buy another whenever this one eventually wears out (years from now). Best dog bed I have ever bought and I have bought many.****Over 2 years and still going strong. Covers wash up like new. I recently had to wash the multilayered foam. I'm glad I have a huge washer with no agitator ad I was able to wash on gentle cycle and then I let air dry. A little bit of the foam tore off getting into and out of the washing machine but not enough to affect the bed. You can't even tell with the cover on it. So happy with this bed and so is my 10 year old, 110 pound lab.

Watch out- liner is not waterproof! After a lot of research, I thought this was the best bed for my Italian mastiff mix with hip dysplasia and a bad knee. The other key was the waterproof liner for the very occasional leaks. The bed arrived promptly and is basically vacuum packed into a smaller container. Cut to the chase, within a few hours of first use of the bed, my dog had a leak. I caught it right away and took the cover off, but was disappointed to find the memory foam was wet beneath the liner. I contacted them right away and the initial response was prompt. However, it was clear they had no intention of addressing the issue beyond trying to identify something I did wrong (impossible, just followed instructions and the bed comes fully assembled). In fact, they actually stopped responding to my inquires. The worst part is, I don't know how I could ever ship it back once it is fully expanded. Super disappointed as I think it would have been a great product

This review is for XL tan color bed. After doing some browsing for dog beds and comparing prices and quality, I decided to order this bed for my 1.5 YO German Shepherd. My dog still young and he likes to sleep on the floor (I'm sure many dog owners refer to this) he used the bed for 5 minutes and then he went to the floor. After 15 min on the floor he went back to the new bed, perhaps he likes it.The price is too high for what you get. The cover is very thin and cheaply made. Memory foam? Well, it's more like colored regular foam glued together, very flimsy and my dog is touching the floor when he's on it ( my dog weights 70 LBS in case you ask). I'm returning it just right after it got delivered; maybe I got a bad one but still, too much money for a low quality bed.

I'd give it 5 stars as it is a really nice bed, but my 10 year-old, 100 lbs German Shepherd could care less for it. I took a chance when ordering it, as I know he's a sprawler but I wanted to give him more cushioning than his current bed. Well, he hates it. We've had it for a month and he simply refuses to stay on it. He did try but it's as if there is an eject button on it! So I'm going to try to resell it and already got him another bed. He likes ForYourDogOnly beds and that's it.However, it is great. The cover is super soft and apparently easy to wash. The extra liner to protect the mattress is an good addition. It is memory foam so very supportive.

Really a nice, well made bed, but my dog just will not lay on it......I bought it esp for him as he is old and arthritic, hopefully he'll get used to it before too long.

My 65 lb, 11 yo mixed breed dog was recently diagnosed with spondylosis deformans as well as lumbosacral stenosis. He had one of those egg crate beds but I figured we could do better. I looked at several different beds on Amazon, some more expensive, but settled on this one. It comes wrapped up very tightly but unfolds to full size pretty quickly. It's a big bed! It took my dog about a day to decide to sleep on it, but now he likes it and seems very comfortable on it. Yes, the cover is thinner than other beds, but I use an old comforter to wrap mine anyway, to keep from having to wash the cover that often. My dog does not sink to the floor on it. It's not "lofty" and puffy, but fairly firm and squishy. My 4 lb chihuahua mix also enjoys laying on it, and even the stray Boston Terrier we kept for a day slept on it until her owners came to get her. Overall, I am happy with my purchase. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but really not a whole lot more than beds you can buy at the big box stores.
