Good product
Big case
****
solid sturdy AED cabinet.
Its solid and good quality AED cabinet. This box has a really solid feel. I wasn't sure what to anticipate, but the weight startled me a little. It appears to be a long-lasting item. It should be capable of carrying out its designated function of holding a defibrillator and be positioned against the wall for easy access in the event that it is required.

Holds an AED!
AEDs are slowly making their ways in to homes. It makes sense since heart disease/heart attacks are a leading killer. Great to have this located in your home to save a family member.

Sturdy Build, Good Design, Easy Operation
Before you get too far in the reviews, make sure this will work with your equipment. With the door wide open, the front opening is 11" wide and about 13.75" tall. The interior width and height are a bit bigger, but you don't want to cram it too full or you might have access issues when removing the AED from the cabinet. The interior is a little over 6.5" deep.If that works for you, they this is well made. It is sturdy with no flex, but only weighs a little over 10 lbs. The corners are rounded, with gives it a good look will also being well thought out for busy hallways (someone is going to bump into this at some point). The door is easy to intentionally open-- push the red tab, pull the handle that pops out-- but is hard to accidentally open or open with a well placed bump. The decals/markings on the front and side are large, easy to read-- and I think they might be painted on as there is no edge for a hooligan to grab with a finger nail and peel them off.The mounting holes on the back are 7" apart, which obviously won't line up with 2 studs, but if you can sink one set of the 4 holes into studs and drywall anchor the other two, that should be adequate. The providing mounting hardware is some short and skinny bolts, but I'm guessing most folks will be better off using something different. So, that's really it-- my only complaint is that the supplied mounting bolts aren't what most folks are going to use-- but that's a really minor complaint overall. This is well designed, sturdy, very visible, and easy to use.

No Alarm
I'm taking one star off this because there is some confusion regarding if this has an alarm. The product photos say no alarm, but the description at this time says there is an alarm:"the alarm in this case can help prevent theft and ensure your defibrillator is safe."I didn't need an alarm, but someone out there might, so it should be clear that it does not have an alarm. There are other ones that do. In the future if they combine the listings with alarm product variants it may be even more confusing.Build quality is top notch, with only a few minor issues. It has three holes for mounting. I looked at other AED boxes and many have four. Given the weight of this I would prefer the four. Mine even came with four screws. Another issue is the door rattles. It needs just a few small rubber stoppers that would have prevented this easily. I plan on doing this myself. The latch and hinge are heavy duty. Might want to add a little lubrication here for the long term.It really is a nice case and could serve as a really nice mounted first aid box if you don't have an AED to put in it. Despite a few minor issues I wouldn't hesitate to order.

Nice and Sturdy With Plenty Of Room
This is the same kind you might see at your local Cubs or Hospital so you know it's going to stand the test of time.To make sure that it will fit everything you want to put inside it, it measure 11 inches wide (that's with the door open) and just under 14 inches high. Measuring the inside is about 6.5 inches depth. So it will hold the important thing you might want in a box like this. But if you're wanting it for decoration, pay attention to the measurements so you'll know how much it will actually hold.It weights under 10 pounds with rounded corners and very sturdy. The door is easy as it should be. All you have to do is push the red tab and then pull that handle that comes out. What I really like is that you have to push the button first so even in the busiest of settings, there's no worry about the door popping open unexpectedly. There are mounting holes on the back too and it does come with mounting bolts, so you're good to go once you open the box.
