As a big fan of Friends, I bought these for myself. I have left them in the box as I display in my classroom and I worry that my students will steal or deface them if removed from the box. They appear just as any other Little Tikes toys. They capture funny character traits of each character of the show. Would be a great gift!

My ALL-TIME favorite TV series was F*R*I*E*N*D*S. These FP "Little People" figures are just so adorable I couldn't resist buying myself a set. When I was a kid, Fisher Price's "Little People" were made of wood and had such a narrow base that they rarely stayed upright. (Unless your parents were rich and you owned the school bus or station wagon- which had holes in which the narrow base could be pegged!) They also were lacking in the kind of detail that make these guys so stinkin' cute. At $5 per figure, they seemed a bit overpriced on first look. However, after looking at the pricing for similar sets of characters for other popular TV shows, they are actually similarly priced. The background is the kitchen (with the iconic props) of "Monica's" apartment- though to be fair, everyone except Ross lived there at some point, right?

So perfect! The figures are fun, holding items and dressed in ways that bring instant memories to life!

My two year old now knows the names of all the characters before he’s even old enough to watch it! Excellent present for him (me!)
