Understand I am not a doctor nor do I play one on TV. This purchase was not for medical use, but to outfit my scalpel-bladed "pocket knife."From that perspective, they did the job... slicing my fingers quite effectively when I neglected to clsoe the knife well... lol. This was my fault (and perhaps that of the knife manufacturer as well), however, not that of the seller or manufacturer of these blades. That is what they're supposed to do, after all. No major injury, however. My point is, if you're buying them for the same purpose, you should be quite happy with them... just be more careful than I :)

I use these to lance little boils on myself - the curvature makes that easier.

Seriously, with insurance my dermatologist bills $250 for cutting off ONE skin tag, I get a bill for $20 and the insurance eats the rest.This pack of ONE HUNDRED BLADES cost me $12 and a scalpel handle costs an additional $6So for my cost of going to a dermatologist once, not including fuel and time, I can buy the equipment to cut off ONE HUNDRED SKIN TAGS !?!?!?!Just use isopropyl alcohol to clean the blade before use and the area around the skin tag, I do recommend a pair of tweezers which is like another $5.Cost effective solution friends.

I use these blades (#10 and #15) for detailed hobby work. They are sharp, affordable and fit a standard #3 scalpel handle. Use caution and know how to change this type blade!!! They are SHARP!

These are sharp, I use the as a marking knife for woodworking. The leave a clear crisp line, I've tried other scalpel blades that weren't sharp enough to cut butter but these do the job. I am completely satisfied with these blades.
