I initially had ordered a large, which is what the size chart said I should get, however, it was too tight, didn't fit well, and was very uncomfortable. And the visor would not snap in place correctly. I got the outer two pins in, but this held the middle pin too far from helmet to get it to snap in place.I returned for an XL and it make a world of difference. Fit perfectly, inner padding was very comfortable, chin strap comfortable as well.Plusses:Helmet looks goodOnce I got larger size, the fit was perfect.Rear dial adjuster makes a perfect custom fitPadded wrap over straps and chin buckle makes chin strap very comfortable, even when tightened up correctly.The visor fit perfectly on the second helmet. Need to push hard to snap pins into helmet, but fit fine.LOVE the eye shield. Looks like it's just to look cool, but I don't care. It works. No more bugs, grit, sand, etc pelting my eyes. It fits well over my eyeglass frames, and a big plus, functions as sunglasses. Reduces glare and eye strain a lot. My ebike goes up to 30 mph, and the wind for hours would dry out and irritate my eyes. No more. Vision is perfect with it, no distortion at all and no obstruction to view. It's a bit tight to put on the helmet with eyeshield over my glasses, but it can be done. And can always quickly unsnap the shield, put on the helmet, and easily snap it back on with its magnetic attachments if needed.Built in light is genius. Haven't ridden with it at night, but have tested it in the dark and it's plenty bright, has three modes, and is rechargeable. What's not to like? My bike has head and tail lights, but this definitely would make me more visible from the rear.Have worn the helmet for hours with zero discomfort . Couldn't do that with my old Specialized helmet which was always a relieve to take off.Again, I couldn't be more satisfied with this helmet. It's a pleasure to wear, eyeshield is great, rear light is a big plus, and all at a very reasonable price. But if your head measurements are at the upper end of a particular size in the size chart, consider getting the next size up. With the dial adjuster in the back you can always adjust it to the correct fit.

I kept getting hit in the eyes with bugs so I found this helmet with generally good reviews. I ordered it with another set of goggle so I have clear for cloudy days and dark tinted for sunny days. The magnets hold the goggle securely. I was worried about scratching so I kept the plastic sleeves they came in. When done riding, I just slip them back in for storage. I find that by holding them by the very sides, there is no danger of fingermarks. I was pleased to find that the plastic in the goggles does not cause any rippling, blurring or distortion. That would have been a deal killer. I have rather large glasses that just touch the goggle at their lower rim, but do not cause any problem. If your glasses were of more normal size, they should not even touch. The helmet itself is very stable once I got everything adjusted. Because the vent slots on the top allow sunlight in, I place a single thickness of paper towel in before I place the helmet on my hair challenged head. No sunburn!

As an avid bikepacker and mountain biker I rely on my helmet for safety. This helmet replaced a top of the line name brand and the VicGoal helmet is considerably more comfortable, easier to adjust, with top of the line features at a very affordable price point. The magnetic visor attaches quickly, easily and without fuss and it doesn't fall off. An excellent design and thoughtfully engineered for rider comfort and safety. I could not be more pleased. And interesting note, my name brand helmet would whistle and hiss at high speed which was very annoying, this helmet is dead silent. Whether they intended that or not, it's much appreciated.

In the past, I have gone with well known brands for bicycle accessories, but this helmet's design was very well thought out; and for the price it's very competitive with more expensive brand name helmets.I'm also in agreement with the positive reviews I've read.So for me, the visor is very convenient and works great; even if you wear glasses. I just purchased an eBike, so the visor is nice to have traveling at higher speeds. The light may not be super bright, but if you're riding (commuting) at night, you most likely have other more serious lights on your bike; this just adds to your overall safety and visibility.The one outstanding feature for me personally was the fit. I don't think I've ever worn a helmet as comfortable, secure and well fitted for my head. There are no stick-on foam pads... because it's not necessary.Overall, great design and comfort. I definitely recommend this helmet.

CON: I could not get the visor to snap into place, it kept popping loose and falling off. I tried over and over, watched videos, and finally called the company. They said to press the plastic prongs HARD into the holes. I was afraid I was going to break the prongs off, but that was what was needed. I am glad that I did not give up.PROS: light weight and comfortable. I can put it on and take it off, with the shield on, while wearing glasses. The light on back is great for when I am coming home from work in the dark.TIP: loosed one (or both) slides when snapping chin strap. Then slide them tighter. If not you run the risk of snapping it with skin getting pinched.

I always have a problem with my ginormous head plus the thick hair... ordered the XL and it fits perfect... nice and light as well. I like how it covers the back a little for extra protection. Used it a couple of times now and I truly don't feel like I'm wearing a helmet. I would not hesitate to order... great price point!

My big head fits perfect in this helmet, I was very skeptical that it would've been too small, like other helmets, that didn't fit. The safety lights lasts for hours and charges quickly. The visor and shield keeps wind out of my eyes while I'm drive my gas powered bicycle. My opinion, it's exactly what I was needing!!
