WOODEN INSECT HOTEL - 28 X 8 X 39CM

I bought this as a mother's day present, something a bit different. It was a big hit!!

The media could not be loaded.  I've had this for the best part of 2 years. It has weathered well and I certainly would be pleased with it as a gift.Initially it didn't have a lot of interest from the insects so I moved the position earlier this year to rest in the lower branches of a Black Elder tree. It's rests about 1m off the floor. Leafcutter bees have moved in and they are so interesting to watch. I bought one as a gift for a colleague and have now ordered a different one to go into another part of my garden...I may even have a chain of hotels! 😁

This looks like a good bug hotel, the only downside so far is that the wooden slot on the front it very rough, not sure bugs will get past the splinters so sanded it before I hung it up.

Had a look at this before I wrapped it up for Christmas. Looks like it’s going to be a good one.

I bought this for my niece who has just moved to a house with their own garden for the first time. She loves the outdoors and absolutely loves this insect hotel. It looks great and is now the home to many insects.

No complaints, kids love it, teaching them to look after all living things.... fun watching the bees go in and out

Looks great and my 7 year old boy loved it, as a Christmas present wrong time of year to know if works but has been put up in anticipation!!
