Fabulous!
A fabulous little tool for getting hair out of the drain. Weirdly satisfying to twirl the gadget and clear the drain. Well worth investing in.

Does the job
Water was draining very slowly from our bath/shower and the plunger didn't really make a difference, so it had to be hair clogging up the drain. Having tried a Drain Weasel in the past, I thought it was worth getting a new one.I will not post a picture of what I pulled out of the drain, but I can say it was quite a substantial clump of hair. Not the most pleasant of smells, as it came out of the drain.Compared to the drain weasel I had before, this one is better. Construction is the same, but the wands on the old one wouldn't really rotate in the drain. They would just twist above the plughole as I was turning the handle. The wands that comes with this one are more flexible and picked up a lot more than the old one.I have seen some mentioning that it is hard to pull the wand out of the plughole. What works for me is to keep rotating the wand and slowly pulling it out of the drain and plughole.

Good item
Did the job.Removed the hair from our drain well, which was clogged up and the drain unclogger wasn’t really helping, only lasting a months. Have now used the drain weasel and has been 2 months n no issues so far! I admit I didn’t realise these were only one use though, it’s impossible to reuse them unless your willing to spend hours pulling off bits of drain goop which isn’t nice! So I’d say they are only really single use! Make sure the first time you use it you give it a really good twist while it’s down the drain n get as much hair as possible first go, it looses it’s sticky a bit if you have to use it twice! But I would buy again if needed as it worked well and aslong as they aren’t to pricey being single use!

It worked!
I really don't want to use strong commercial chemical dissolvers to clean the drains if I can possibly avoid it, so I thought this might help in my battle against a slow-draining bath. The bath has a normal plughole which means needing to be able to insert the Weasel into one of the drain holes which I was able to do.It certainly pulled out a good foot-long rope of hair although the width of the "rope" was probably wider than the bath drain holes so I had to resort, in the end, to yanking it out whilst wearing gloves. However, without the Weasel I wouldn't have been able to access the hair at all. It was also longer than the the brush! The bath now drains quickly. This has certainly taught me to a) use a haircatcher for the drain and b) to clean the drain more regularly in future. It was easy to use and very effective. Delivery (by Royal Mail) was also prompt. I will be investing in a refill as there was no way that the original brush could be reused after doing its job!

Not as good as before
I have used drain weasels for a long time and they have been fantastic!! However, this one isn’t the same - the end is rectangular and flat rather than pointed. It seems almost like cheap Velcro rather than proper barbs as before. The actual shaft and handle are also not as good and actually fell to bits the first use. It was difficult to insert into the drain and when I turned it the tip wasn’t catching on the hair plug. Normally I get a hair ball on the first couple of turns but not this time.

Absolutely brilliant!
Every home should have this product! After using various chemical and non-chemical drain unblockers with no success, I ordered the Drain Weasel and cleared my bath drain in 10 minutes! So easy to use...it may take 2-3 goes to remove big hair clogs but you'll know when the water will just rush down the drain. The trick is to "feel" around the drain with the wand until it hits the clog and then twirl the wand around gently to pick up the hairs.I was particularly happy because this product saved me calling in a plumber in the early days of lockdown, not to mention the cost savings.I wore gloves to pull the clogs off the wand, and cleaned the rest off with an old toothbrush. Good as new, and ready for reuse for regular maintenance. Wish I'd found this product sooner!
