Really like this concept and good customer support.
I am editing my review because after the first unit failed after about 3 months the company contacted me and replace the pump that broke. In my book great customer service is huge for product support. The concept is terrific for those small gardens that are not on an irrigation timer system and far from a water source. It keep all of our vegetables alive when we were out of town.

E3 code? edited with solution to issue
E3 code keeps coming up and the pump pulses and then conks out.If you repeatedly turn it on and off it will catch and water you plants. I have pulled a dripper off at the farthest point and it is moving water, it just will not do it continuously. There is no E3 code in the manual and nobody seems to know what it means.Edit: After contact from the company, I changed to a 4 star. Make sure you have enough drippers on the line. They recommend 40. I did that and it worked. Also, I figured out I put the drippers on the water line to tight and they weren't moving the water as designed. Once I corrected my setup it is working just fine.

Don’t waste your money.
This is cheap and unreliable.

Pump failure on two devices after not even a year. Both pumps leak and flooded the circuit board.
The media could not be loaded. Good the device that was sold by Ankway but looks identical. Device is great when it works but both had internal flooding, damaging the circuit board and rendering the device unusable. I like the stake device and watering right at the roots without risking evaporation. Wish they would use a better pump or make spare parts available.

Pretty complete kit, wish it included some supports for the lines.
This is a pretty nice kit to start with. It has a nice solar panel with a multi-position bracket - or the panel can be directly mounted to a fence post, garden bed rail - pretty much however you need. The control unit/pump is pretty substantial as well and has a pair of LED indicators for the pump and timer settings.Includes two pieces of main tubing and a small filter and several lengths of small tubing to go to the individual plants/pots. Comes with 30 spikes so in theory, you could do 30 small pots or as many as needed for larger plants. You'll need to spend a little bit of time to figure out how you need to route all of the tubing most efficiently. I do wish they had included some sort of hangars or guides for the tubing instead of letting it drape on the ground - I'll have to work on fabricating up something.I have seen add-on kits to add additional plant spikes and more tubing. The system seems capable of handling more so will experiment.Tested out the solar panel and controller, will probably not fully utilize until next seed-starting/rooting season in early Spring.

This SAVED my potted plants this summer
Easy to use, intuitive settings, more tubing and emitters than I needed. We got a solar watering system for the plants on our new back deck and it worked so well we got this one for the side deck. We set this up shortly before going on vacation and kept our fingers crossed. When we returned after a week, when the daytime temperatures at home were consistently in the 90s, the plants looked great! This system was super easy too set up; we strung the drip lines on cup hooks under the edge of the deck so nothing would get tangled in them. We used a 15 gallon barrel as the reservoir. My sister came by to check on things and refilled the barrel when needed. Even after returning home, this system kept the plants healthy, since I didn't have to remember to water every day. Next year, I will be inspired to add more pots and plants to the side deck, since I have extra parts for this system. Given the cost of plants and the time invested in them, this system paid for itself in one season.

Kept my potted plants alive
I have a section on my property that doesn't have a good hose or electrical access. This kit kept my potted plants alive in the heat of the summer while we were out of town. The Kit comes with lots of tubing and connectors to customize the system.Quality seems OK, I'll see it it lasts more than a season or two.

Might be a great product. User manual is terrible. Support not great.
Error code E3 comes up on startup. Not explained in manual. I asked what it means in an Amazon question and learned it means battery not charged enough. After weeks of sun exposure same problem. Asked if product is defective. No answer after several days. Manual also leaves important installation questions unanswered. How tightly should drippers be installed? Appears to work, but for how long?

Irrigation system - Error code E3
The system was relatively easy to set up but the E3 error code and warning is hard to find a solution for. It's not listed in the directions and can't reach the company!!!Very frustrated with this!!!Not sure if the system is working to full capacity, however it is providing some irrigation but stopped when we were away for 2 days and my all my plants wilted

Error Message and no Instructions
I have a feeling this unit is great, but I wouldn’t know because the unit is displaying what appears to be an error message, but I have no way of interpreting what it means. If anyone knows what E3 and beeps mean, please let me know.

Non-standard tubing
Reached out to vendor, they stated that in/out tubing is 1/2 inch ID, it’s actually 5/16 inch ID and very hard to find. This makes it challenging to expand or add on to the system. We found a way to get it to meet our needs with the provided 5/16 inch tubing.
