Massively reduces static friction, a bit more slippery than brand new PTFE skates during movement. This translates to very good dynamic response and tracking. But it will not mask imperfections of your movement(or the pad) like PTFE on a regular pad. Needless to say, this is made for specific gaming needs and not for shaky hands.

I would not recommend it if u have a artisan mousepad MID X Large the main issue i had with it was i play rainbow six siege and sometimes u got to hold pixel peaks aka hold a angel to kill someone in game and that means making ur mouse stand still for a bit till u see them then react the react part was difficult because the mouse would feel like honey when moving left or right and just to grippy on my mousepad so don't get these if u have my mousepad i warned ya.

Regarding the Pro X Wireless version, the pad that was scratching for me and needed replacement was the center pad that circles the sensor. Sadly, this pack replaced every pad EXCEPT that one. That said, after removing all pads (including center), cleaning each socket thoroughly and just replacing the others, it does still glide very nicely with the center pad empty. Just wish it included every pad, especially for the price. But, quality is good so far.
