I made an enclosure for my 3d printer and I used two sets of these to set my 3d printer on as well as other sound material around the enclosure. This has almost completely quieted my printer to where I can no longer hear it running. Was a simple install with using double sided tape to apply it to the metal enclosure.

This foam is lightweight but dense and holds up fairly heavy speakers with no problem. Feeling my desk with and without the pads I can say that these help quite a bit in reducing vibration transfer to the desk. The speakers sound cleaner and more punchy.

Not what I was expecting. Very thin foam.
