This universal kit worked for my older washer/dryer units. Quality of materials and the fit are excellent. Generous ratchet strap was more than long enough. It was easy to put the parts together. Instructions were clear.

Used to stack our old Samsung dryer on a new LG washer after the samsung washer prematurely died. I was super impressed with the easy install. 100% worth it. Just had to take the old samsung stacking kit off and the dryer feet off first.

We bought a stackable GE washer and dryer 5 years ago and unfortunately the washer started having problems that would be too expensive to fix (estimate was as much as the cost of a new washer). The new models for the products we bought 5 years ago have been upgraded and the dimensions of the new washer model no longer exactly matches our exisitng dryer so we could not stack with the recommended GE stacking hardware. It seemed wasteful to get rid of a perfectly functional dryer and buy a new one just so we can use all GE products...solution? this awesome product! This totally changed the game for us. We now have the older dryer on top of a new washer and they are stacked snug and tight together with the adjustable connecting frame held together securely with the ratchet strap. Have had this set up for months and have had the peace of mind that the stacked appliances are safely in their place. I actually feel that this set up is more secure than what we had before.

This product works as intended. As others have mentioned, it looks a little "janky" but does the trick. My comment is that the ratchet strap is the length needed for full sized machines. If you have 24 inch machines the ratchet strap will be too long to tighten, and will layer up in the ratchet so that the ratchet doesn't have room to spin any tighter. We had to cut about 8 inches off our strap to make it work, and now it's fine. If you have 24 inch machines, you can do a dry run with just the strap on your stack to measure the length needed.

I was so terrified turning our washer and dryer into a stackable set. I was worried it would tip over and injure a child or animal. This set was top notch! Extremely sturdy, it even stood up to our enormous loads of laundry after a week of camping. Very easy to set up, and was not a thick eyesore. Great price for the quality.

Be aware of your washer’s detergent input, if it is in the upper corners this kit will not work

Considering options in Japan for stack washer and dryer are hard to find let alone a stacker. This was perfect and highly recommended after all I had to go through. No noise and shaking like the ridiculous metal shelf which was recommended by the store staff. The leg of the shelf was bending. To top it off it cost almost 15,000 yen! The pain you have to go through to return items here is crazy. I basically had to tell them my dryer is going to fall and it will be on them and of course I had video proof. This one is easy to install and so far it not doing jumping jacks!
