Chocolate Chex Cereal Bulk Pack, 49 Oz (Pack of 4)

We are Gluten Free and LOVE all the flavors that Chex offers in their gluten free options. I ordered this product, despite the 1 review that complained that this was too expensive for 1 box of of chex. To be clear, this is 4 LARGE bags of Chex and ends up being 15 boxes of any flavored version. Each flavored version of Chex sells for anywhere from $3-5/box. Which is $45-$75 dollars for the same amount of cereal. This is a good deal, cuts down on waste, and makes storage much easier. Same delicious Chex products.

It's the correct cereal, but the bags are 2 feet long and nowhere near half full. I understand that cereal breaks a little and settles, but this is ridiculous. My kids won't eat half of each bag because its like baby cereal, or mush. So the money I saved buying these huge bags is wasted, I think the reason the cereal is SO busted up is that there is no protection in the shipping bos, There are 4 bags in the box with nothing to keep them from getting tossed around during shipping. No individual boxes, and the bags float around in the giant box. I can tell every time the kids get a new bag out, because they spend 5 minutes shaking the bag to get unbroken Chex to the top of the bag. They do NOT have this problem when I buy the cereal in commercial boxes; they eat it all. I will not buy this product again, unless they improve the packaging.

This doesn’t make any sense, a 3 dollar regular box of Chex is 21 oz. why would I spend 60 dollars for 49 oz? Amazon with the strange offers
