Makes a nice bead but block was too thick to get behind my bath taps, thinner option please

Great item for perfecting a smooth finish on silicone. Different edges for different sizes of trim. Easy to use.

Handy little tool to have. I usually use the scraper type of smoothing tool, but saw this and thought I'd give it a go, and it works really well. Especially good for bridging the gap between grouting in between tiles when using silicone, so you get a nice clean bead. Just make sure you wet it down with soapy water before you use it for lubrication, and to stop the silicone from sticking to it. Also wipe any excess off as soon as it gets on there because once it dries you have no chance. I'd still have severa other smoothing tools for other jobs, but this is handy to have as well. I'd definitely buy it again.

Videos claim it puts it on smooth. Reality is that it's better than a finger but still not great for an amateur

Its ok, nothing special, works good for horizontal sealing, not so great for verticals,

Never thought I could master the art of silicon sealing until I tried this device. So easy my wife could do it (OK Maybe I'm pushing it a bit there) but certainly anyone with bent towards DIY.
