Disappointing. Cheap, lightweight, plastic pen but doesn’t actually achieve the purpose of lighting up the writing area. Wouldn’t recommend it if you want to properly see the area when the nib connects to the page.Pros:- can be used to light up an area of the room.- ink flows smoothly when nib is visible.Cons:- The photos on this product indicate that the light projects on the page at the nib. In reality the light projects from the top of the barrel where you hold the pen so the light is blocked by your hand. There is a fair bit of light but just not at the nib to allow you to see what you’re writing.- only lasted a week and that was minimal use, maximum 90 mins a day (if that).- quite fiddly as the light dims while using the pen (that was on first use so appears to be design flaw, not battery) so had to keep untwisting the pen and jiggling the battery to see if it would connect. Works for a minute or so then dims again!- the button on top of switches the light on. To write you have to twist the nib area but while writing this keeps turning so the nib gets smaller. You have to keep twisting it back to continue writing.Overall was a good idea but design flaws make it unfit for purpose. Handy as a light source though but not for writing.
