A full length mirror attached to a wardrobe door in our bedroom had cracked towards the bottom. We didn't want to go to the trouble and expense of changing the mirror. Nor did we want to camouflage the noticeable crack by way of self-adhesive window foil or similar. I came across this lead strip and knew it was the answer to our annoying problem.When the lead strip arrived I found it very easy and pleasant to use. Even though the crack was slightly curved I found it easy to adjust the slightly flexible strip to follow the line of the curve. The end result looks really well and almost as if the mirror had been supplied with the lead strip ornamentation in the first place. The sturdy plastic tool supplied with the strip made it possible to fix the strip firmly to the surface of the mirror and enabled a very good looking finish.I highly recommend this product and would buy it again anytime.

I bought this by mistake, needed 9mm. The stuff works great.

Had purchased the strip to replace small sections that had become detached on our conservatory window bevels. Easy to apply and a good match to existing lead. Adhesive seems good, but will need to monitor over time. If it lasts it will be a really economic way of repair.

Very very pleased, matches my other windows perfectly. Instructions are good and easy to use. Looks fantastic and can be used in the inside of the window with just as good an effect. Template well worth getting to assist with the pattern.

Really easy to use once you get into the flow. Looks really professional at a fraction of the price. Only piece of advice is unless you are doing a small window order more than one as 5m is actually used up quite quickly.

I used this product to repair my front door glass where some of theOriginal “lead” was missing after 12 years. Wear and tear or over enthusiastic window cleaner. It was easy to apply not quite an exact match but does the job. If I feel like making.it match more exactly I’ll buy some metal paint and carefully go over it with an an artist brush ! If I have nothing better to do!! 😀
