I Just love this series!!!
Let me start by saying that this is by far my favorite of all the books in this series. Music of the Soul started it all for me with this series, then came A Deafening Whisper which actually made me sad which is a first when it comes to reading books because it made me think about losing the love of my life which is my wife of 7 years going on 8. I can keep going on about the series but I will not so please read them for your-self to find out what all the fuss is about. Now let me get to the review of this book. This book was just awesome to me no wait did I say awesome?? How about freaking excellent I mean first off we see how most of the โlegends of the Northwestโ are doing so that was a plus but then we learn about the love between the Sam a.k.a hank and Aj. I donโt want to give too much away then I will be spoiling it for people but just trust me you would want to read the others to know some of the other characters in this book because honestly I would have been lost without it. So if you want some good books to read pick up the Music of the Soul series I promise you will not regret it!

Weak Addition
I actually like this series quite a bit; however, I found this particular book to be a weak installment. If you have read A Deafening Whisper there is zero dramatic tension, even when the girls are facing the obligatory obstacles to their relationship. This book is really reinforcing the idea that there is nothing new under the sun. The characters weren't distinct enough for my taste, more like mini mash up versions of their parents than anything else. I think the story would have been better served with less name dropping of main characters from the previous books in the series. More original romantic activities, instead of Sammie dusting off her "aunts'" playbooks, would have been appreciated. Honestly I think I would have been more interested in the stories of what June's group did to become legendary at school than I was in this particular romance.

OMG AMAZING
I've been waiting for this book for the longest of time and it was so worth the wight! i simply love the book and words have no meaning for what i feel for this work. after reading of or Erik Schubach books i truly believe that i love and bravery exist. And not to give anything away i flipping love Zali as the goth that is cheery (SORRY!) i love with to be JW (Junne),AJ (Abby) and Hanks(Sammie) freinds! once again this a truly another amazingly written book by Mr. Schubach.Thank you for writing such real books we can relate to!

Fantastic
I give this FIVE STARS because this one actually made me cry for the first time in years for some of the best written characters that I have read in a very, very, long time. This story has done it for me. I cannot believe the writing in this is so spot on right. I could go into great detail and give you the quotes from the book but, I don't care who you are or where in life you are, this book will be an emotionally charged rollercoaster ride. Enjoy the best ride there is.

Another great love story!
This is Abby Jacobs' and Sammie Roth's story, coming back full circle to the end of Deafening Whisper. If you've read Deafening Whisper, then, you already know how this ends, but that doesn't diminish the story one bit. I liked how we see children from other stories, like Sammie, coming of age. Now that these two are together, I wonder which story is next. Vicky and Mia would be nice, but I will be happy with whatever story is appears next in the Music of the Soul series. Way to go!

cute
It was a cute story. I really enjoyed it. It does need some editing. There are a number of errors. The ending felt a little rushed as though it was just throwing the expected ending together. The characters were fun and quirky, which I love, but at the same time all seemed a little too alike. Keep up the great stories. :)

Beautifully Written
This was a beautiful story of little Sammie and Abbey all grown up and finding that special someone in each other. I loved reading the parts with the different Aunts, as they are special ladies with their own wonderful stories. I am hoping that soon we will get to read Mia and Victoria finally coming together, I know it will be awesome. If you haven't read this series do so, you'll love it just as I do.

Another good story
A very good book, but I have come to expect that from this author. It was great to see old friends from the past Music of the Soul books in this book.A good solid read well worth the price of admission.

Bloody hell, this annoyed me...
I quite enjoyed Erik Schubach's first 3 book 'Music of the Soul' bundle. A Deafening Whisper was actually pretty moving and I also really liked The Dating Game. I liked that this picked up Abbey and Sammie's story (which is touched upon during the course of A Deafening Whisper) and the story was nice enough, but I had some major issues with it too.Firstly, Mr Schubach writes this like a teenage girl would. Given that he's a grown man I find that just a bit odd...I also really wish American writers who attempt British slang actually ran their stories by a British reader or two before they pumped out their attempts at our vernacular (Trish Denise is another whose attempts at our use of language make me cringe...). Sammie in this (who is apparently an American girl brought up in England) says or thinks the word 'bloody' in this 86 times (yes, I counted..). She also refers to herself frequently as a 'git' - a pejorative term which usually means 'a bastard' (and not the illegitimate kind). 'Twit' (or its one letter different alternative) or 'idiot' would have worked far better. And whilst women are sometimes referred to as 'birds', who told Mr Schubach that the term 'silly birds' is in common usage in this country? I'm a middle aged woman and I've never heard of it!The only crying this book got out of me was tears of frustration at the mangling of our beautiful English language. I found this aspect of it far too distracting to really enjoy the book as a whole...

Brilliant
Only one word describes this latest book in the Music of the Soul series - brilliant. The story ( although a stand alone novel) continues and intertwines with other books in the series. The main characters have amazing chemistry that leaps from the pages. I have never got tired of reading about these characters again and again, all of which was started with the story of Mandy and Bella. Erik Schubach brings these characters to life so that we can all enjoy their journey

A beautiful book, a must read
This book brought together so many stands of believing in love, having those you love make you the person you are through the agonies and adversities they have gone through themselves.I could not put this book down it flowed together so well and with such honesty and belief not only in yourself and those you love but in love itself.Erik Schubach more please!

Touching
this story made my eyes water more than once an captured my full attention all the way through which if unusual for me due to a lack of attention span. it didn't drag anything out an had a nice steady flow so you weren't overwhelmed. this story would be great for people on the go cuz you can't get lost in an overly complex chapter where you have a whole series of things happening which makes it difficult if you have to stop half way through.
