Great pickleball paddle! It’s lightweight, comfortable to hold, and gives good control and power during play. I noticed better accuracy on my shots and less vibration on impact. Overall, it’s a solid paddle for both beginners and casual players.

Such a great pickleball paddle, it’s super light weight and has improved my game.

This paddle is amazing for the price. Starting from beginner and using this paddle it is amazing. You get to hone almost every skill. The grit is really good and offers a lot of spin, at the same time you aren't sacrificing power or control over where the ball goes. I wouldn't recommend buying this if you know what your doing but I would definitely recommend this paddle for anyone new / intermediate. I got the control paddle and the power is pretty nice for it being a control. The feel of the grip is not bad at all and weight is very nice for fast and precise movements. Well worth the price!

Update, 1/16/25. Change to 4-star for Selkirk customer services. They sent the replacement. I'll use this as my backup. I like their commitment of backing up their products, I've ordered the Amped to use as my primary. My first serious paddle (paid $100) and loved it. I rate myself as intermediate player (played 4 months) but this paddle gave me good spin. The power I couldn't tell (from my muscle, or the paddle added?). Fair control, go where I wanted. BUT... the quality is so bad. Only after 4 months, every corner showed damage (pictures). The grip torn off. Read the reviews and they all placed this in top 10, but all mentioned short durability. So, there you have it. Hope this help in your decision. Have filed for warranty and see if they honor that; otherwise, no more SLK/Selkirk for me.

1. Sweet spot – (4/5). Very good sweet-spot. Paddle claims to be a power one, which shows in clean solid pops with minimum effort. This comes with a flip side, if you are not good at control, balls can fly out. 2. Surface/Spin – (4/5). The surface has grit and offers nice spin. However, I felt it was not as sharp as some of the raw carbon surfaces I have played with. 3. Grip – (3/5). Grip is soft and smooth, but on a bit small side at 4.125 for me. I have medium hands and it felt not so firm in my hand and grip felt just a bit small. Good thing is it could be just what someone may be looking for. 4. Weight – (5/5). This is a super lightweight paddle, just under 8 ounces. It will not stress your wrist. 5. Looks – It looks professional, sharp and stylish. 6. Packaging – (2/5). It came in a plastic bag, for a 100 plus paddle, it could be better packaged. 7. Cover included or not – (1/5). No! Why in a 100 plus paddle there is no cover. Charge me 5 extra and include a nice cover to keep my paddle safe and also look good. Overall, a very nice paddle for beginner to intermediate levels, lightweight and powerful.

I liked the quality and the fact it was light. I had been using an old paddle given to me by a friend and this one is so much better.

Absolutely terrible! Do not recommend. I just got this paddle, and even though some of the reviews said to be careful that it might come apart at the handle, I went ahead and bought it because it’s a good brand, the same brand as my current paddle I’ve had for years and love. This one absolutely disappointed. The first time I went to play with it, the handle started coming apart from the paddle, and luckily, I had my old standby on hand. The paddle was unplayable. I don’t recommend it.

I was really excited to receive this bat but when it arrived the paddle was scratched and the handle was dirty. It looked like someone had already played 10 games of pickleball with it. So I sent it back and got a refund. Very disappointing.

Grip is very comfortable. I like the longer/narrow paddle face as I am good with positioning the racket for contact.

AMO esta raqueta que viene en mi color favorito, morado. Me permite atacar fácilmente y también tiene buen bloqueo. Me encanta esta raqueta porque se adapta muy bien a mi tipo de juego (ataque y defensa). La recomiendo para aquellas personas que ya quieren subir de nivel su raqueta
