direct replacement for OEM part that took under 10mins to install. all fasteners and sensors fit as they should with ZERO fitment issues. dealer quoted over $350CAD for this part alone and another $200 for labour. not sure how well it will fair against cold canadian winters as it seems to be stiffer than the OEM part and cold may impact its integrity over time. we shall see but overall happy.

Our 2011 Turbo MINI Hatchback (101K miles), had random miss plus, two trouble lights on in dash display. Discovered plastic duct from air filter to hot end of the turbo was soft and cracked. Hesitated to purchase new duct as other Amazon customers reported that across the huge variety of ducts (and suppliers), some ducts didn't fit or had no clamps, or set trouble codes or the stock wiring didn't fit in to the pair of sensors on the side of the duct. This part had the best average rating/ price/ and experiences. Arrived in a week, took just 10 minutes to install, no problems w/ wiring to the pair of sensors. MINI started right up and the trouble (SEL) lights in the dash display went off fairly soon (have not come back on either). MINI runs smoothly again. Only time will tell how long this new plastic duct will last. Even if it needs replacement one of these years, I'd consider buying another of this model duct. Cheers.

When I was checking the Turbo on my newly acquired Mini R60, the original hose broke at the turbo, which is apparently really common, and makes sense since it attaches to the very hot Turbo even though it's plastic. Bought this to replace it, and am very happy with it. It fit perfectly, came with all the necessary clamps and o-rings, and appears to be of equivalent quality to the OEM part that came off my car. Definitely better than some of the other ones on Amazon around the same price, and costs about half what an OEM replacement would be.
