I replaced another big-box brand wireless adapter on my preteen daughter’s PC which is as far from my wireless router as physically possible. At about 75ft and through several walls, this one is solid. The one i replaced was hit or miss on the connection and strength varied wildly from 0-4 bars. This replacement works fantastic! Iv had it going for about 2 months now and zero complaints. My kid does all her homework, video calls with her friends, streaming music and videos, absolutely zero lagging. This one is able to connect to my faster 5ghz wireless channel as well as the old 2.4ghz channel. Im 100% satisfied with my purchase and would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Works great, no drop off or signal issues. Speed tested well at an average of 80/85Mbps down&up (multiple testing clients,) through two rooms in home network. Quick install as it is just plug and play on the Win11 PC we used it on. Comes with installation guide and a MiniCD, neither of which were needed as it just popped right up & looked for networks once plugged in. Happy too; as our collage student didn't feel the need to build their PC with a CDRom drive. Only issue would be the design as it is large, and with the twin (independent adjustment) antenna might/may pose an issue for a tight area.

easy to install

You have to install some Chinese software from a CD just to get it to work, and even when I did that the software kept glitching out unable to hold a connection for more then a few seconds at a time. I bought a different one that did not require and software and got better speeds then I was getting on Ethernet anyway. Do not buy this.

Works very well

I bought this wireless adapter for my wife's work computer since it did not have a wireless card and her new home office didn't have a LAN drop. Works great! It is connected to our 5Ghz Internet and performs flawlessly with zero issues! Okay one issue, but it may be her USB on her work computer. If the dongle is bumped even slightly it disconnects, but may very well just be her USB port. Slight vibrations don't disconnect it though. Only an issue if bumped. Again, it is not an issue since it's a tower and not moved and I have not tested in another computer to see if it was due to the USB interface or her computer's USB. I would definitely recommend!
