Good quality paint protection film
I purchased a small amount of VViViD 3M clear paint protection vinyl film to see if I'd be able to use it and I must say that I am impressed. The product was easy to apply and the end result is good. The film provides a good level of protection for my vehicle's paint. One thing I love about this film is how well it blends with the paint; it's almost invisible and doesn't detract from the overall appearance of the vehicle. Additionally, it is highly durable and resistant to scratches, chips, and other types of damage.Overall, I recommend VViViD 3M clear paint protection vinyl film to anyone looking to protect their vehicle's paint while maintaining its original appearance.

Time consuming, good protection, tricky to install
I ordered 4"x96" roll for my medium size Mountain Bike and it was NOT enough. It was only enough to cover all sides of the seat stays, chain stays and the very bottom of the seat tube. Need to order another roll to cover the down tube and fork. It's not easy to install. I used a spray bottle with soapy water (just add some Dawn dish soap to the water). This method worked really well. It gives you plenty of time to move around your pieces and get them in the right position. It took me about 3+ hrs just my first time doing this on the mountain bike and I didn't even finish the whole thing. It's very tricky to cut your pieces correctly for different parts of the frame that are curved and tapered. You end up with air bubbles but if you keep working those air bubbles with the included squeegie, by the time the soapy water dries you will get a nice tight fit. Maybe a few minor air bubbles in a few places but no big deal. Your bike frame is much more protected now, which is the whole point. My mountain bike has a matte finish carbon fiber frame. This 3M tape is glossy, so it looks now like part of the bike is glossy and parts and matte.

It does the job!
I've been putting off reviewing this b/c I'm a little torn. As others have mentioned, this is not an easy product to work with, however, if you can place it properly, it will stay, and will provide good protection against degrees and chipping. This is not really an adhesive backing as much as it is vinyl sheating. One reviewer reccomended using a spritz of soapy water applied lightly to the frame to help adjust the vinyl. I did not do this, but in hindsight, I think this would work well. Be aware that it is difficult to cut because it is very rubbery and sttetchy. I had to cut out for holes of the bottle cage, and used an xacto knife. It was very tedious. It can be done if your careful and take your time. I hope this helps. I would purchase again.

This stuff works, and it's not that hard to install
I bought this tape (in 4" x 48" size) to protect parts of a recently painted bicycle frame. I was concerned by some of the reviews that suggested that installation might be difficult, but it wasn't. The key for me was to use warm water with a little liquid dishwashing soap. I put the water on the part of the frame that I wanted to cover, and then thoroughly wetted my hands before installing. I was able to get the tape on the frame without fingerprints, and although it was pretty sticky, was able to adjust it to exactly where I wanted it. I didn't have any trouble with bubbles; just started in the middle and worked them out toward the edges. I can't comment on its durability, yet, but if it stays where I put it, it seems thick enough to provide decent protection.

Could be better
Arrived in minimal packaging, which is fine. Saves on waste. No instructions were provided. Had to search for a video on YouTube. Pretty straightforward application technique. The edges of the film had jagged remnants, likely from the cutting process. After receiving the product, I'm a bit disappointed that I paid so much for it. Just applied, will see how well it holds up.

Easy peasy protection
I've never used this product before but I found it super easy to cut and install on my bike frame. Not sure why people are having issues with cutting the film. I used sharp scissors and it worked perfectly. One tip is to cut the corners round, so that they aren't pointed.Use soapy water before securing the film to the frame and gently and patiently work out the air bubbles until the adhesive kicks in.I am happy that my bike frame is protected.
