I used this to paint some lettering and add designs to fondant icing. The paint went on well with great coverage. Nice solid colour, great consistency.

You need to shake well before using and keep agitating whilst using or it separates. It is very thin compared to other gold colourings but works well for accents and holds its colour over dark coloured fondant.

One of the best gold cake edible paint I’ve used. Gives a lovely rich gold colour. Use it gradually and build up coats to give maximum effect. Nice and thick easy to thin with alcohol if needed. Great packaging and easy to spot amongst all the other bottles of food dye when you do this for a living. Dries quickly and great coverage

Terrible stuff ,splits on cake . Not nice at all

Really great colour but very fiddly to use and was too runny. It didn’t give the effect I was hoping for as the drip went all the way to the bottom really quick.

Quite thick so would recommend to air dry if you can insert a toothpick in whatever it is that’s being dyed. As my cake was autumns wood at themed, I had no issues with streaks. It added to the theme. Perfect coverage and colour was exactly as the picture. Will definitely use again, bottle is too hard to squeeze so gave up on trying to decorate with it, but poured dye in a shot glass and it worked fine. It is a full coverage dye, so never had to worry about colour diminishing or leaking. Dries fairly quickly.
