These are powerful little magnets - I'm using them to stick things on the garage cabinets - surge protector, old license plate, etc. They do the job - where many "lesser" magnets would just slide around.

Used it to connect things to a cap and it holds!

I have some button magnets that are almost impossible to pry off of metal with your fingers. These are fine, but not that strong. In my search I listed "strong" button magnets. I know that's a relative term. To some they may be strong. I am sticking them on the bottom of my motorcycle to attempt to trigger the magnetic stop light signals at intersections. Today, my BMW and myself were ignored by the traffic signal. Not until an Escalade pulled up behind me did the light turn green.

I was hoping to use these with a ferrous metal plate to temporarily hold a small hook on some fabric, even with using two magnets it barley holds its own weight
