It is a workable case and useful for me because of the built in stand
It is a workable case and useful for me because of the built in stand. It is not quite as beefy as the one I had for my old Samsung Odyssey and therefore will not protect the phone as much from a drop. That being said I am still very happy with my purchase. I do not use the belt clip carrier part of the case cause I carry my phone in my shirt pocket. When the phone is in the carrier the screen is completely covered and would very likely be more fully protected if dropped.

Low quality case
I purchased this case to replace my previous Verizon purchased case of the same style and design which had broken due to a hard drop (phone is OK). This case is much thinner than the other, which would not provide much drop protection. It also feels flimsy and not as stiff and rigid as the previous. The holster is roughly the same as the previous except for one deal breaking issue--it doesn't hold the phone in itself. I placed the phone in the holdster and onto my waist, and began to walk a lap around the inside of my apartment. After two steps I felt the phone begin to slip out of the holdster. I removed it from my waist and lightly shook it in my hand, holding the clip. The phone slipped out completely. I placed the phone back into my previous and still broken case, and shook it with the same and greater force. The phone stayed in no problem.This appears to be a case of "you get what you pay for".
