Flowmaster 71236 FlowFX Muffler (2 Pack), 409S 2.5" Offset In / 2.50 Out Moderate Sound by MAPerformance

I heard sound clips on You Tube and I was down to two choices this was one of them .I'm not disappointed I'm Running them on a Ford 390 PU with no Cats they are not to loud not to Quiet . They sound better with Tailpipes instead of dumping a turndown right out of the muffs I also installed a H pipe in the system the Mufflers have a stainless type finish and look High quality made its basically a glass pack with a large body .

The media could not be loaded. Loved how this made my 66 F100 with a 4.6 sound! Very easy to install and use if you know how to work with exhaust of course. Great quality would put on another vehicle.

I got this as part of my exhaust system. The sound from this is an expected. Nice deep rumble that is not too loud and very pleasing to the ear. They are very well built and good quality. Getting a pair for that price is value for money.

Slightly reduced noise but not much. I like the sound may still be to loud for some people.

I bought the ones with the side inlet and center outlet and put them on my 383 Chevy with Hooker classic headers and turndowns in front of the rear axle. I’m astounded that a 14” straight through muffler with 2 1/2” pipe can be that quiet at idle. It’s like the rumble is almost subsonic. It’s very neighborhood friendly up to about 2500 RPM, they’re very reminiscent of those old Thrush sidepipes. At 3K you can tell they’re straight through, but it’s by no means offensive. But then again, I’m an old veteran with hearing loss and I think the drag pipes on my Harley sound wonderful. Peace out, hotrodders!

Nice fit

These FlowFX mufflers are awesome. I had them installed on my 1962 Cadillac convertible. I wanted a clear, crisp, tough sound from the V8, but no drone inside. These as true duals are absolutely perfect!
