ToughBox Galaxy S7 Case, [Commute Series] [ Shockproof ] [ Slim ] [ Rugged ] for Samsung Galaxy S7 Case [Fits OtterBox Defender & Commuter Series Clip] (Black | Dark Navy)

I got this for my significant other for her hand me down S7 (yes I did get an S9) as she is not a phone snob just wants the darn thing to work no bells whistles and her old S5, she was perfectly happy with, bought the dust. First, S7's are good phones to consider if all you want is a nice relatively fast solid decent phone that will get you on the web, text, phone and a good screen. Essentially, it is an S5 on steroids fixing the S6 issues. I highly recommend and in some ways prefer it over the S9. The S9 is pretty...and has lots of bells and whistles, but you want pure excellent functionality, that looks good out of a case, I think the S7 was a peak device.Anyway, back to the case. I got this because the colors match her old S5 Otterbox cover and she loved that case. Otterbox has severely limited their color selections over the years I have noticed. Anyway, I bought this thinking it was Otterbox by mistake. When I realized my mistake prior to delivery, I figured this would be junk and bought an Otterbox in a color I hoped she would be OK with. Well, anyway this came and I looked it over and what do you know it wasn't bad. It is an obvious Otterbox Commuter knock off but first look wasn't bad. So, I put it on and it is obviously not the same quality (attention to detail) as Otterbox but fit pretty nicely. Main issue is it is not a "perfect" fit like the Otterbox BUT it is close and unless you look closely you won't notice. I'm thinking it will provide roughly equivalent protection and when I handed it over to the wife, she was OK with it and couldn't tell the difference. In fact the new Ottebox came in an aqua variant (no purple) and I said you can have this one and she said NO, I want my old colors so the quality difference I am describing she couldn't even see.So, if you want a decent case at a very good price, in colors they don't have in Otterbox, Go for it. Not bad overall. And no one will notice unless you point it out.

Ordered this after seeing that commuters are slimmer than normal Otterbox covers. LOVE IT! Case fits perfectly and assembled easily to be snug to the phone. Very lightweight. Love the feel of it in my hand - I have small hands so most phone cases annoy me. Was skeptical of the flaps for charging and aux but have had the case for 2 weeks now and it is actually the most brilliant design. Protective and durable but not a pain to access frequently. Highly recommend.

This case is amazing! Very sturdy! Prevents damage to phone. I had this same one for about 3 years. Finally got a new one because the other one was very worn. So happy.

I'm very disappointed upon the description it sounded like I was receiving and OtterBox when I received it say it obviously was not I'm returning it poor description do not buy if you're expecting an OtterBox so much for Christmas gift!

My son dropped his phone 1 time and it completely broke. Cracked the screen and the phone doesn't even turn on now!

Fit's great, I have a small crack in the top right corner of my phone and it keeps it from getting any worse.Would recommend.

This is exactly what you would expect from an otterbox. Shipping was fast and it was easy to put on the phone.
