These hog ring pliers are good quality, although somewhat small for the larger hog ring sizes. I had trouble finding stainless hog rings so these pliers plus the selection of stainless hog rings were what I needed.

I bought these to secure home made bungee cords. I can see other uses for these hog rings (and the pliers), as I overlap hardware cloth sections or supports for my garden plants, attach a trellis to a segment of wire.The kit includes four sizes, which comes in handy if you have no idea what size you should use.Plus, the seller in Gum Spring, Virginia, who sold this on Amazon, well, they put the nicest personal note in the package with the product.
