A jade comb was handed down from mothers to daughters in many Asian cultures, especially Northern Chinese and Korean families, and was especially important to brush the brides hair the day of her wedding to remove any bad energy. My comb is for a dear adopted friend who is exploring her Korean heritage. This comb is very solid and well cut, the Jade is actually beautiful and without visual fault, lighter than expected in weight and color, and I would be curious as to what rank it is (Jade has a scale of 1-3 for sale by licensed merchants). I was floored by the low asking price of this solid Jade comb and would highly recommend buying it for a loved one.

The brush arrived broken, bad quality

As a hair comb, it doesn't do very well with long hair. Therefore, I use the spine side with curves to massage my skin including arms, neck and scalp. The jade comb is on the small side, 4 inches in length with the teeth about 1 inch. Great as a hand grip for stress relief.
