Really cool design for acoustic panels
My son just rented his first apartment and discovered pretty quickly how loud the neighbors can be. After researching acoustic panels, I found these and really liked the design. These do not sound proof by any stretch but definitely muffles neighbor noise to at least a tolerable level. Aesthetically these look fantastic. However, I will mention not all the pieces of each color block match nor is the sizing of each piece consistent. Fortunately, it didn’t affect the overall image. As far as assembly, I would highly recommend buying heavy duty construction paper or very thin plywood in order to make a template to mount these on. The adhesive is extremely strong and since my son is renting we didn’t want to damage the paint/Sheetrock and these definitely would. I ended up mounting these on construction paper (taped the seams) and then using commando strips to mount the entire piece to the wall. Worked out amazingly well. So much so, my younger son wants the same thing on his bedroom wall. This will be my second purchase and second assembly. Sigh.

Stylish, Functional and affordable
These are excellent tiles, however, the adhesive on them is super strong. I had to remove a set of tiles and ultimately needed 4 coats of paint to cover up the adhesive residue. On my second application, I decided to trim the corners using a razor blade and am using just a small amount of adhesive per tile and it holds well, but now I know removal will be way easier. Plus I can re-use them as the remaining adhesive is still covered. Good product, just be sure to plan it out and be smart with the adhesive.

No more noisy neighbor
This is a very large wall covering. I purchased it for a number of reasons: 1. Sound proofing (I have a neighbor who screams bloody murder anytime something doesn't go her way.) 2. Wall Art, 3. Fire resistant. I could have purchased a bunch of ugly black egg foam tiles and stuck them to my wall, but my cat would have scratched them to bits, they would have been unsightly, and highly flammable. So, I picked these tiles as they were the most affordable, soundproof, attractive, and fire-resistant choice available. I had to measure out, level and mark where to put the tiles before I stuck them to the wall. Once they are stuck, they are STUCK. I also took time to lay out all the tiles together on the floor before I placed them on the wall. I love the final result... my neighbor's voice is much softer, the wall looks nice as a backdrop for zoom meetings, and I don't have to worry about tiles falling off the wall or catching fire. I DID misplace one tile and had to rip it off the wall and re-stick it... that was awful. I could not get the sticky off the wall and had to put double sided tape under the tile to re-stick it in the correct place. Highly recommend.

Will not stay on wall.
Bought these for the office in our new house to improve the audio quality in the room. It looks great and functions as it is supposed to when it’s on the wall, but they WILL NOT stay there. Also, keep in mind there is no placement guide so you will have to make due with the picture that comes with it. Compared to them falling off the wall, this isn’t a huge deal— just time consuming. We cleaned our wall and ensured it was dry before applying the decals, and within hours half of them were on the floor. We replaced them, made sure they were tightly adhered to the wall, and went to bed that night. The next morning, even MORE of them were on the floor— this time, one of them was face-down on our desk mat for the floor. It adhered so tightly to the plastic it took 30+ minutes of scraping and 3 applications of goo gone to get all the adhesive off. This time also, several of the tiles adhered together and had to be pulled apart. This ruined the adhesive on several of the tiles. This adhesive is extremely strong— what I don’t understand is why it sticks to everything EXCEPT the wall it was designed for.Again, happy with the function— but if it doesn’t stay on the wall, it doesn’t really matter in the end.

Installation Tip!
I really like these. I'm not expecting a huge acoustic difference. If you want that, buy something thicker.I bought for the aesthetic to fill a blank wall.As others have mentioned, the backing on the panels is very sticky making it difficult to apply perfectly. Here's a trick. Use a razer blade to cut a circle from the film on the back and only peel back that section (see pic). It's plenty enough to stick and it's easier to slightly reposition or remove if you need to. You just twist it off.Next. If you're using the mountain pattern like me, use a level to draw a horizonal line across your wall as a guideline. Assemble from bottom up.Take your time. For each piece, "dry fit" it and use your level to confirm it's straight. Look closely at the edges ensuring that flow and match up.If you cut a piece from the middle and need to pull it off the the wall you can just cut another piece of the backing off.If the edges are coming up, just peel off the edges of the triangles.Hopefully this helps some people out who don't want to use poster board or plywood as a backer.

So much potential
What a GREAT idea for a cute trendy office wall mural. I purchased these for my husbands office / stream game room for sound suppression. It didn’t come with great instructions (literally a photo) but easy to customize or figure out. They all fell off within a few days unfortunately, I am now working on hanging them Velcro command strips hoping they stay.Great idea and sweet design but frustrating that they fall down.Instagram: Kels.gonzales

You can have fun with your own designs!
Looks great on the wall - same look as some fo the more expensive ones we got advertised on Instagram. We adapted the design as the pictured design was too wide for our wall but once we worked out what layout we wanted it was easy to install and stayed well stuck!
