An interesting read with a lot of value.
This explanation of CBT was great for me. It was easy to follow and understand. The basics of CBT are outlined very well and very early on in the book, I had a good understanding of how the mind can associate a situation with negative thoughts, this in turn causes behavioural problems. After reading this book, I am convinced that CBT could be the answer to many sufferers of depression, eating disorders etc. But as explained in later chapters, there are a fair few different ways/ methods to approach CBT. There is no cookie cutter plan, some patients may respond better to different methods.

HOW TO OVERCOME PERSONAL PROBLEMS
This book outlines how CBT (Cognitive Behavorial Therapy) can help out in tackling such disorders as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, eating problems, and others. The author sets out his subject-matter in a thoughtful, detailed and accessible manner, and, with such problems seeming to be becoming endemic in present-day society, the ideas in this book are well worth studying and acting upon.

CBT
I didn't find this book very helpful. It only explains what the therapy is, but doesn't offer any meaningful ways to try it out.

Helpful
Covered more than I expected. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy - CBT - The Basics and Beyond: CBT Workbook - Modern Psychology: Applied Psychology by Rebeca Franks is well organized and clearly written. Recommended. Four stars.

One Star
Like someone managed to publish their GCSE home work as a 'book'.
