I love Charlies Soap. originally purchased from Signature Homestyles a decorating business, who closed up their business. I was very happy to find it online thru amazon. No residue, no soap scum, actually cleans clothes well. Will continue to use this product line. Other products as prewash spray and powdered bleach are also very good on clothes. Highly recommend!!!

We have used Charlies for probably 20 years and it is still the best detergent. You really shouldn't call it a detergent because it doesn't clean like your typical powder detergent. Your clothes are not left with any residue fragrance, just the smell of clean! Recently some of my clothe accidentally encountered a fragrance detergent yuck! It was so weird. Charlie's is also gentle on your machine which can get all gunked up over time with detergent residue. Still the best 20 years and going strong for us!

This is the only detergent I have used for many years. It works as expected and I like that there is no scent.

While it appeared to be adequately packaged & the delivery driver appeared to be careful with the package on delivery, when I opened it, there was some laundry detergent in the sack. I couldn't find a leak, but as they chose to ship a consumable in the same package, that was a tad disturbing.I'm tempted to discard the plastic bag the detergent came in, just in case it really does have a leak, & put the powder in another container.I have high hopes for the product, but a little daunted by all the "prep" required to use it. I think this first bag will just end up going to the washing machine cleaning, & the "wash three times before wearing" thing. Is that just a tongue-in-cheek thing? Or do you really require washing the clothes THREE times before wearing?! I have never heard anything like that when using a laundry soap. The water consumption alone on my Speed Queen dinosaur of an agitator machine is rather daunting. Especially since they've just raised the cost of water in my area of the county.😳But my clothes ARE smelly, dull, scratchy & generally gross, despite investing in this supposedly "legendary" washing machine & trying every type of detergent out there (that doesn't contain optic brighteners, which sadly, aren't as many as there should be!). So...high hopes, but a bit daunted. Cheers!
