works great, inexpensive and easy to apply

I am quite pleased with this product. I have a back splash behind the stove of "ancient" copper tiles that had become horribly tarnished over the years. I used the copper leaf to cover each tile, and it looks better than new. It takes some practice to manipulate each leaf as they're ultra-thin and fragile, so there will be some wastage. It took two packages to cover about 70 4" x 4" tiles. To get a textured look, I went over each tile with multiple layers of the copper leaf. This was a huge money-saving project as I was going to have the back splash replaced, which would have cost about five times as much. I recommend using a spray adhesive instead of the liquid brush-on type, as that left unattractive and uneven brush strokes that showed through the copper sheets. The spray gives a nice consistent coating. I'm going to finish off the project with a clear spray sealant to protect the surface.

Wedding decor. Used to enhance table numbers. The color was perfect, easy to use. I had never “gold leafed” it worked great. Quality was great.

I received these and finally ready to use them-not sure how I will like them when applying, but I did check them out when I first got them and they feel and look very nice-I think I will be very happy-I plan on using them on the bottom part of a dresser I will be painting - I will update

these are great gold leaf sheets but the only down fal is there are no holding spaces to grab the tissue to place the leaf easier. In the end it worked great and you get a lot of leaf sheets for your money. very uniform in color as well

These are really great! I wanted some silver leaf for an installation I created for my office. I did a lot of prototypes to find the best way to get the texture I wanted - I didn't want it to be perfect. If you paint the size (glue you use for silver leaf) and get a good coat - you will get a perfect surface of silver leaf (this is not what I wanted). So if that's what you're looking for, these work for that, too! For my project, I actually sprayed a very light misting of size over a canvas painted with acrylic paint, then I strategically placed the silver leaf where the edges almost touched, I purposely tore a few here and there to get a "marbled" effect. I am so happy with the results!!! Tip: when you're putting it down, position it over where you want, let it slide off the paper and blow it into your surface to get it to stick. Then pull out the paper and voila! It's so light, air and blowing is your friend!

I wanted to gold leaf a frame for a painting I had, and this worked perfectly. Did a great job and the project came out exactly as I wanted.

I have not used the product yet so it is hard to give a true review. The coloring is beautiful typical leaf texture. Will updat review once properly used.
