The watch is comfortable and fits snugly on my wrist.
I don’t usually buy digital watches but I lost mine and decided I would give this one a try, hoping to find my regular watch and use this when I worked in the yard. Setting the time was a challenge but I wrote my own directions instead of the ones that came with the watch. The best thing about the watch to me is the watch band. I usually wear a metal flexible band that is too big and is half way up my arm so that it won’t slide. If the band is much smaller, it won’t go over my hand. The notches on the band are close enough that I can get a good fit where I want it to be.I wore it to bed one night and the alarm went off during the night. I figured if the watch didn’t tick, I could wear it at night. I was wrong.I am happy with my purchase.

Pretty good basic watch to replace a basic Casio, but not perfect.
As of this review, I have owned the watch for just a little over a month. I bought the black resin version, not metal. Once I wear a watch, I do not take it off. So over the past month, I have worn this watch 24/7, while I sleep and in all activities of daily life. Lets just jump straight into the pros and cons.Pros: thin, light, easy to read, looks pretty good, so far no scratches, no water or moisture issues in hot and cold showers, has the date/time/day of the week all on one screen, and very affordable.Cons: straps are on the harder plaster feel rather than soft silicon rubber, loses about 4-5 seconds each week. Cycling through the modes get you to the time setup rather than having to press two buttons at the same time or holding a button for a few seconds to set the time. This is a con for me because it's very easy to accidentally cycle to the time setup mode and potentially adjust your time by accident. I've ended up on the time setup mode quite a few times and that may be a contributing factor to losing 4-5 seconds a week.I bought this watch to replace my $14 Casio just to change it up a bit without having to pay a lot of money and being afraid of damaging it because of my active life style. My Casio has been super reliable and has gone through two strap replacement already just to illustrate that I beat my watch up on the daily. Overall, for a sub $20 watch, the Golden Hour watch is pretty good. Again, my biggest issues with it is the loss of time and mode button.

Great Bang for the Buck
I just put this watch on for the first time ten minutes ago. Initial impressions: Very handsome (I have the black watch and face with gold bezel). I like the LCD display with gold text matching the bezel with black background. This is the inverse of most LCD watch displays that have black text on a light gray background. The only minor downside to this is that it's difficult to read in low light, but this is what the backlight is for which works well. I also like watches' light weight and very low bezel height. Overall, this watch is very good ergonomically and comfortable on my wrist. I haven't tested its water resistance yet but a basic shower test will occur within 24 hours. If it fails this basic test I'll update this post and rating.

Great simple low-profile watch
I got this watch for an everyday/activity watch. I use it for both yard work and for exercise and everyday use. It does the simple things you need a watch to do. Very visible display, the light is great and I really like the low-profile/thin watch, no bulky excess that can get snagged on clothes or branches or bother you while doing other stuff.

Basic watch for swimmimg
I wanted a simple watch that didn't cost too much to wear while swimmimg. Another requirement was that it be long enough to fit my 8 1/2 inch wrist. This watch met my requirements, and the pretty green color was a bonus. The rubbery-feeling band is not one I would consider wearing full time, but it is great for water sports.

Good for the price, but...
This watch is good for the price. Actually, very good for the price. It can be difficult to find low profile and durable watch. Most modern watches are bulky to the point of catching on random things, or making it impossible to reach the bottom of your pants pocket. Not this watch! Very low profile, functional, and made of metal (also rare these days for digital watches). For me, this watch had two drawbacks, one of which prevents me from using it as my daily driver.1st, the illumination is not very bright. I could put up with that.2nd, and the deal breaker, the timer function resets the countdown automatically! Meaning that the timer has to be set for each use. I must be spoiled, because I am used to the timer resetting to the previous countdown. In my work, I frequently need a 30-35 minute timer (usually I set 33). With this watch, it is a hassle to keep having to set the timer to 33 minutes. If you only need an occasional timer, and don't need a bright illumination, then I would recommend this watch to you.

So easy to read
I needed a watch that I could read quickly — this is it. In one quick glance i get the time, day, month and date. Great in daylight but be sure to look for a face that has good contrast to the letters/numbers. The watch's night light is not very bright. The band is plastic or rubber and doesn't do well with sweat. I'm sure I'll replace it soon. Overall, it does exactly what I wanted.

Love it so far
I've only had this for a week but I've swam with it three times and it's holding up great so far. I like that the watch face is thin, but it's large and easy to see. The band, even in pink, is big enough for a 6' tall man's wrist.
