My daughter in law wanted this piece really bad. She's happy.

I purchased this for my hubby as a Father's Day gift. He loves making homemade pasta and has been wanted this for a while now. I finally took the plunge and we are so pleased with this attachment. We made spaghetti first with it--turned out great! The pasta sheets turned out nice and thin. It cut the pasta really nicely too. Next we're going to make homemade pasta sheets for lasanga!! Yum.

Edited: August 28So after I posted the review below, I found that three screws were actually never added to the product. I was able to buy the screws and fix it. However, in the meantime, the company reached out to me multiple times to make this right. Even though it was after the return date, they offered to send me a new one, but since I had already fixed this, they actually refunded me for my product. They were very helpful and immediately available. The product actually works OK. A+ for customer serviceThis product is absolute junk! Do not buy I just took it out of the box unfortunately after the return date and a pin fill out after that the entire thing completely fell apart, and four tiny little pins keeping the whole thing together fell apart. I spent about a half an hour trying to put it back together without any luck it is now junk sitting on my counter, do not buy this item

I've used a hand crank mill forever and this is just so easy. I've avoided replacing my Italian pasta mill with an attachment because it was simple and sturdy and would never wear out.No plastic parts at all on this mill, it'll last as long as the stand mixer which will itself outlive the great grandchildren I do not have yet.

Super easy to use. The microgrates on it grab the pasta so there’s no concern of getting any hands in the machine especially when working with kids. Only 2 sizes of cut pasta though.

Shipping was fast and my mom broke hers and so I ordered this one she really likes this one

I have used the hand crank models and gone through several of them. This attachment is much easier to work with and makes more consistent noodles. Seems like is is built well but only time will tell. I have used a few times it works well

The media could not be loaded. I purchased the product in early summer and didn't get around to using it until last night. I have used the KitchenAid branded rollers and cutters and found them to work really well. When I turned on the mixer with this device I immediate noticed that the rollers were off and the thickness was varying on each revolution of the roller (see video). Also the device seemed to move up and down at the end - like the roller axle wasn't centered and calibrated properly.When I started rolling the dough and setting thicknesses thinner and thinner, there was a visible strain on the device and the thickness dial would, on it's own, adjust itself to a thicker setting and I would have to manually hold it in place. Also, the dough at the thinnest setting was pretty thick compared to when I used KitchenAid branded products.I am unfortunately passed the date where I can request a return. I was hoping for some sort of warranty, but I can't seem to find any contact information for the company or any details on a warranty. Maybe the company can respond on here with an offer to help? As of now I consider myself the purchaser of a not great and defective product from a company I can't get a hold of.
