Good for wood finishing
A very good tool for brushing up the grain in wood for a weathered aged look. I finished about 300 square feet of tongue and groove pine for a ceiling job. The brush did a nice job and held up well. A few wire she'd but overall life for this application (on softwoods) should be good. Recommend hooking up you dust collection and it make dust fast. Easy to install.

Fills in the spot in your tool collection where sandpaper and grinders fail.
I bought this to help create shou sugi ban (charred wood, wire brushed). It works incredibly well and is about 10x faster than hand brushing. Still need to clean things up by hand afterwards, but this pretty pricey tool has paid for itself after one job and looks almost new after about an hour of constant run time. Be warned, this doesn't work well on painted surfaces, which is the only other application I tried it on.

excellent tool.
Used this product on wood burning project to strip charred wood. Also worked excellent on removing Light rust on metal diamond plate. Thought the price was a bit expensive but it has held up excellent and is still going after countless projects

Perfect for Resurfacing Rough Sawn Wood
When mounted to the Porter Cable Multi Surface Restoration Tool, this wire wheel is exactly what you need to remove dog marks and surface discoloration from rough sawn cedar and other wood type while retaining the rustic appearance. I highly recommend this to anyone who already owns this tool or is interested in resurfacing rough sawn wood.

Great tool for wire brushing wood flooring
Awesome tool with the Restorer. I do wood flooring and I bought this to allow me to wire brush stair treads for a weathered effect. It works awesome.

Does the job
Couldn’t be better, really. It does it’s job and it does it well.. Sometimes a little too well. It can be a beast, but that’s not a problem

On it's power tool - a little "wolverine"
I bought the related tool because of this attachment. It made quick work of resurfacing my sadly neglected back deck. My next project is my smoke blackened fireplace

Product stripped and removed bark from wood projects very well.....Make sure to wear a mask and eye protection.
