Purchased 5V 150W version to drive WS2812 LED light strip. With only 180 LEDs = 60W max was seeing voltage drops to under 4V as LEDs go from dim to bright. After realizing the hidden switch was set to 220V and correctly setting to 110V it is now regulating the voltage fine. it's a little hard to tell where the switch is set without opening it but you can actually get to the switch with a small screwdriver poked through the holes in the case. However this is the ventilated, non-fan version.Continuing to test. May revise rating up or down based on how this holds up. I plan to ultimately drive 140W of LEDs which is still well under the 80% rule but I'm already seeing this getting warm under 60W load. Not sure about longevity. Would benefit from a fan I'm sure but for my application I need a nearly silent power supply.

Nice enough and does what it says. Only issue is the 110v/220v switch is near impossible to change without removing the cover, which breaks the warranty seal. Why are these shipped in the US with it set to 220v by default?Also, they don't have a user manual plus none online. Wish I knew what the voltage fine tune feature did and how to use it.

I originally thought I might have received a faulty unit since the output voltage dropped severely when drawing only 2 amps. Luckily I checked the voltage input selector switch, before returning it. It was set to 220V. It now powers 4 144 per meter WRGB strips @16A without breaking a sweat.

I was extremely hesitant to hook this up to mains voltage. The unit has no access port to switch the mains voltage which of course shipped set to 220V. In order to access the switch and read the label for 110/220 you have to remove the cover which of course has a warranty sticker on it. Is this some kind of joke? Neverminded the fact that warranty stickers in the U.S. are not even legal to begin with. Once the cover was removed I was greeted with, excuse the pun, shockingly bad assembly. The hold down clamps for the voltage regulators and rectifier were haphazardly put in place with the one for the regulators less than a millimeter from a transistor lead which could of shorted current to the case. I'm surprised they even bothered with thermal past and pads at this point. A good percentage of the through hole components are bent, crooked, and otherwise poorly put in place. Like others have stated the voltage drops significantly in use. It did drive 144 ARGB LEDs well enough at an intense brightness, but there was a noticeable voltage drop of 1 volt at the end of the rail. The unit tested at 5.17 volts out the box without load before adjusting the trim pot.After inspection, adjusting the position of the hold down clamps for the regulators and rectifier, and checking the board over for other possible faults, the unit performed well enough. Personally I think this thing is dangerous and of questionable build quality. Considering that you can get a name brand Mean Well power supply that outperforms it for close to the same price you are probably better of not trying to save a few bucks on this.

300 Watts Power supply has an inbuilt fan which runs all the time and is noisy. One may be better off buying the 200 Watts Power supply and spreading the LED strips across different Power supplies

Excellent power supply, plenty of power for large LED projects.

Time will tell truly. But works good so far. Been running for about a week. Others have complained about the 110/220 switch being shipped at 220 and not being able to switch it without removing the cover and voiding the warranty stickeru. All you need is a brain to switch it. If this one thing is to hard for someone to figure out they shouldn’t be doing any project that requires them to touch 110v.

Currently powering 971 individually addressable leds from inside a waterproof project box. Could be more powerful, had to turn a potentiometer to get it up to true 5v, won't go higher which would have been nice for voltage drop across my wiring.

Update: after 1 day and very low useage. The power supply made a hum noise. Voltage dropped on both 5v terminals to 3.6-3.8v with no load.Unplugged. Left it. Tried again. Same issue. Was hoping to spend less (rather than buy another meanwell supply which costs more) as I wanted to only run 1 strip. But…. It’s now needing to be returned.First review:Sold in Canada. Set to 220v. So. Check it before firing it up! The switch isn’t easily accessible. Need a small screw driver to slide the switch over.

After reading reviews i got 2x required wattage. Works well, no complaints

Was good while it lasted but unfortunately after a year of daily use it is no longer working. Will be contacting supplier to see if I can get a replacement under warranty. UPDATE JAN 2022: Seller replaced the faulty unit once more came in stock. Overall happy with their customer service!
