Was initially very pleased with this item, however the unit failed to function after 2.5 weeks. light worked, but reflector failed to rotate.

While I live inland, I've always been obsessed with lighthouses. I bought a couple of the tall garden lighthouses from a discount store (Big Lots!), over the past few years. The lights only lasted one season before pooping out. So I looked, but didn't realize I would actually find a replacement. This one won't sit neatly into the battery compartment opening on the lighthouse, but I can velcro tape it around the edges to make it work. The light itself is very nice, very bright, and seems to last for quite a few hours at night. I recommend it.

Worked great first few weeks, 6 weeks in and it stopped turning. Disappointed

Battery lasts awhile in good sun. A little on the pricy side for what it is. Spinner sometimes doesn't spin though other than that works great. Stand alone or is big enough for a 3ft lighthouse. Strong construction. Easy to use just flick switch.

I thought the item was lovely when it arrived. Great color, perfect size. However on the first night it came on as it should and did simulate a rotating light, but it was at an extra fast rotation. So fast in fact it looked as if it were just blinking, not really rotating. The second and third nights the light came on but did not move at all or even try to simulate rotating. So we now have "the rotating light, light house" functioning as a dim light in out back yard. I definitely would not recommend this item. I gave it one star because it does look like a lighthouse; but that is it. Very disappointing.

I had an old lighthouse from my father who has now passed. The light on top stopped working years ago. I was so excited to find a replacement. The only drawback is that the old light used to light up the window in the lighthouse. This one doesn’t. Works great though.

item look okay , but light does not rotate like it should.

This is so cute, I love it. It must do its job, because I have yet to have a ship or boat hit my balcony.There is the odd time that I have to give it a tap because the beacon isn’t spinning, but otherwise, it’s great and holds a great charge. Sometimes, it’s still spinning and lit up in the early morning when I get up.
