i bought this around the time i gave birth to my son. the strange part about it is that he doesn’t look like me at all, he doesn’t even look human. he has whiskers and cute little beans under his paws and a long fluffy tail and sheds like crazy. i brush his fur with this and it definitely takes off a lot of bulk, but i think he might be a little slow because he keeps trying to bite it like it’s a lollipop… weird kid.

Ha ha to my headline, she has always loved me but now... she won't leave me alone! She is always wanting to be brushed and asks all the time. She loves this brush and I love that she loves it, that it helps to brush out her loose fur, and it is incredibly easy to clean. My cat has not liked any other brush or comb I have purchased but this one, this was a winner for sure. It is easy to use, and makes her coat so soft. I know she feels better when all the loose fur is brushed out and it helps her to be cooler in the summer not carrying around all that fur she's trying to shed. She jumps up on the arm of my chair and meows until I get out the brush. She definitely would give this a 5 purr rating. Then when we are done she falls asleep and I push the button and pop out the fur to clean the brush and get ready for the next time. Hooray for a great brush that is not too expensive and loved by my sweet cat.

It did the job, was easy to remove the hair from the brush. Maybe didn't take as much hair out as the more expensive ones but was still very usable.

I rescued an older cat who had a difficult time cleaning her back so she had a lot of thick hair that felt dirty. My brother and I even debated bathing her. I decided to try this brush first and I am so glad that I did. I started brushing her and she loves rubbing her face along the bristles. This brush has removed so much hair and it’s ways to clean. Just push the button and it falls right into the trash can. It has made a world of difference on the cat’s back. I wish I had before and after photos! The difference was noticeable in just a day! Of course that day had about 4-5 brushing. Sweet cat loves it.

I've used this a few times on my cat. The first time, she really wasn't sure about what was going on. Now, she loves getting brushed! I think it's a relief for her now that it is already so HOT here in Texas. Her fur is smoother and looks healthier! After brushing, it's so easy to just push the release button and throw away the big blobs of fur into the trash! My floors and furniture now have less "tumbleweeds" blowing around! I also purchased this brush in Blue for the feral kitty that hangs around in my yard. He is somewhat tame now, since I give him food and water every day. But he needs to get a bit more comfortable with me. I will try it soon. Wish me luck!

If you need to brush a cat that resists grooming, has long & tangled fur, is very young and needs to get used to grooming, or an older cat that's a bit cranky, this might be a good tool to add to your kit. As other reviewers have noted, this isn't great at hair removal. I think the pins (or teeth) on the head are too far apart to grip loose hair and collect it. It's easy to hold and easy to clean with a click. It does remove some hair so I'll keep it for my cats enjoyment. Good for my sensitive cat that likes to be brushed but resists other types of brushes and combs that seem to irritate her even though I apply light pressure. The coated pin tips that are more gentle. I'll keep it and use my other brushes and combs to remove more fur when necessary. The best fur removal tool I've used is the Furminator but it is pretty rough on cats (my cats don't tolerate much brushing with it) and it's hard to use without yanking hair. Plus the Furminator makes a giant mess as fur flys everywhere!

I was very pleased when I opened this box with the hair brush for my cat. It is very well made. The size is perfect. Has a good grip. The bristles are the perfect size and I love the button on the back that pushes the plate that moves the hair forward for easy removal. My cat loved it so much that he laid there wanting me not to stop. lol. I recommend this brush and the price was just right.

I own a british shorthair and it works amazingly! Some other brushes I've tried didn't work this well. The handle is made easy to grip, the fur pops out easily after pressing the button, its great! Its everything you could want with a brush. Its straightforward the size is perfect,it removes the hair SO easily! The over all quality is AMAZING! I definitely recommend this!

This is such a brilliant brush which my cat loves , which is so easy to push a button and the hair drops off the brush head. Great idea and great price !
