Okay, I liked this product. It frothed conveniently into my glass of liquid at home and shook into my water nicely when I was on the go... but there is a bit of a flavor. Enough for me to ignore but it annoyed my husband so we switched to a different brand. Great, clean ingredients and no funny business! I found that squeezing some lemon into my water along with a pack of this masked the flavor nicely.

I've only bought two and this one was way better than the other one.

I'm not going to diss any stars over flavor concerning a drink mix containing any traces of salt - especially an electrolyte powder where SALTY is what I need. Yes, you can tell it's in there(which you would think would be a good thing), but it does not taste so strong that it mimics taking a swig of ocean water. I do recommend it cold, and it had been a great supplement for my carnivore diet transition, and the beginning phase "leg cramps." It had also been a great replenisher during and after my martial arts sessions. Add it to fruit drink if you must have sweetness. Otherwise, this may not be the product for you. Me? I don't even want stevia, and I especially do not want dextrose in my beverage. This stuff is excellent for what it claims it it's. Highly recommended!

The liquid version tastes a million times better we are bummed we biuggg this instead of the liquid version this is rough the drink

The individual packets are perfect for on the go. I travel a lot for work and it’s easy to take the packets with me to add to my bottle of water.

First off this product is clean as can be in that you don't taste any artificial flavors - because there are none in it! While in power hot yoga this really replenishes throughout class and also while lifting weights. I replaced my Powerade zero (which come to find out is filled with sub par ingredients ) with Lyte Balance and I won't be going back! I'm on my 2nd bag of 32 individual packets and will def order again! highly recommend if you want clean hydration & electrolytes!

I'm just not quite sure what to make of this stuff. Starting with the obvious, it's "unflavored", but actually tastes like salt. Put this into a small bottle of water, and you're left with saltwater. It isn't quite like a drink of ocean water (it's not that bad) but it's definitely noticeable, and not very pleasant in my opinion. So, it's definitely best to mix with other flavored drinks. When put into a juice, the salty taste disappears and it's delicious. However...if you already have some sort of flavored drink, it most likely already has electrolytes in it, right? Gatorade, Powerade, Body armor....whatever you're drinking, it likely doesn't need any additional electrolytes in it. So, I'm not sure how you're supposed to use this. You can either ruin a bottle of water with it, or you can put it into a flavored drink that doesn't need it. The ingredients seem good, and the little bags it comes in are convenient to store in small places and easy to use. It's a functional product, just not a very well thought out one. 3 stars here.

This product, like the other other one I have experience with, give your water a certain "feel" in your mouth. If you were doing a blind taste test against water, you would be able to tell the difference. I suspect it may be the inclusion of the magnesiums. I also have an nighttime magnesium I sometimes drink that has this same "feel" and semi tastes like this product. The bag does not indicate this version is supposed to have a flavor, and I can mostly agree with that. I mixed it with some MIO that I would ordinarily mix into my water. I could tell it was mixed in, but it wasn't off putting. The package directions suggest to mix it with 12-16 ounces of liquid or sprinkle over your food. I mixed it into my 24 ounce water bottle, and since I wasn't relying on it for the taste, it worked out fine. I have not tried it over food, but based on how little taste it gives to water, I suspect you would not notice it at all. Overall, I like this. I only took a star off for the taste. But again, this is me not so much liking the magnesium, which is totally a personal preference and not a fault of the product. These little packets are super portable and would be great to take on a long hike, or some other event where you might be out in the sun for a long period of time.
